We completed the 4-day Mardi Base Camp trek from Pokhara, organized by Can Travels, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged—transport, accommodation, meals, permits, and most importantly, our incredible guide Amrit.

Amrit was knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive to our pace and comfort. His passion for the mountains and deep connection with the local culture made the journey even more meaningful. He shared fascinating stories, helped us spot birds and wildlife, and made sure we were always safe and well taken care of.

The trek itself was breathtaking. Each day offered stunning views of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, and lush rhododendron forests. The final push to Mardi Base Camp was challenging but totally worth it—the sunrise over the Himalayas is something I’ll never forget.

Accommodations were clean and cozy, and the food in the teahouses was surprisingly good. Can Travels ensured everything ran smoothly, and their local expertise really stood out.
