People are kind there, and the atmosphere is welcoming. A little bit crowdy around but it's no problem. Jamin offers a wide variety of candies, so there's something for everyone. The prices are reasonable. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy nice sweets.

De Jamin bij Amsterdam Centraal is een leuke, handige plek om snel iets lekkers te halen. Het assortiment is uitgebreid, met een ruime keuze aan snoep, chocolade en andere zoetigheden. Of je nu op zoek bent naar ouderwetse favorieten of internationale snacks, je vindt hier van alles. De winkel is wel wat klein, waardoor het soms wat druk en krap aanvoelt, vooral tijdens piekmomenten. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar door de drukte is er soms weinig tijd voor persoonlijke aandacht. De prijzen liggen iets hoger dan gemiddeld, maar dat is niet verrassend gezien de locatie. Het is ideaal voor een snelle traktatie of om iets lekkers mee te nemen voor onderweg. Kortom, een fijne winkel, al kan de drukte wat ongemakkelijk zijn.

The store was open until 10:00. We got in line for ice cream behind a large group of tourists (6) for scoops of ice cream at 9:35. The staff member told us very rudely that ice cream was closed. A minute later someone comes out with a soft serve cone. We head back in to talk to the other staff member with the headset and she looks at the other staff member and says ice cream is closed, we didn't go back to the store. They were very rude and cranky There are plenty of other Jamin locations with more...

Absolutely not worth it – total tourist trap! The candies were incredibly old and rock hard. Nothing about them was worth the money – I’ve never experienced such poor quality in any candy store before. It’s outrageous to charge 32 euros for something like this. Avoid...
