Avoid if you have any self respect! While the food was merely average, the staff's behavior was downright appalling and completely ruined our evening.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with an unwelcome attitude. After being served our meals, we were abruptly informed that we had only 10 minutes to eat and leave. This rushed service was not only rude but entirely uncalled for.
When we politely asked for some sauce, the staff laughed at us and made insulting remarks. As if that wasn’t enough, they began packing up the outdoor seating area, turning off the lights while we were still eating. This forced us to move inside, where the hostility continued.
We were then told to come to the till to pay, unlike other patrons who were allowed to pay at their tables. The same staff member who had been rude earlier became increasingly frustrated with us, despite the fact that it was his card machine that wasn’t working properly.
This place is a typical tourist trap, but at least some tourist traps treat you with a bit of respect. There are plenty of other options where you can enjoy a meal without being subjected to such rude and unprofessional behavior. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this...
Read moreHonestly never felt the need to write a review but this place was awful, my two friends are fluent in Italian and decided to order in Italian has we had suspicions that the place wasn't authentic because the waiter was trying to push garlic cheesy bread on us before we ordered and chips with our pasta! To get on with the story my friend order bruscetta and then he told us the waiter couldn't speak Italian at all even though he tried to pretend he did. He also didn't like that an irish guy could speak Italian and he didn't. The bruscetta finally came out and I don't what kind of Italians thinks bruscetta is garlic cheesy bread but that was definitely not it, my friends ordered one each and both got the same. Anyone who came into the restaurant, garlic cheese bread was being pushed on them. Was the garlic cheese bread good at least? No, it wasn't even toasted properly. I had carbonara which was mediocre, had to season it myself cause it was just plain bland. Anyway, it's not hard to make something like bruscetta and giving someone garlic cheesy bread instead is an insult to...
Read moreCame to this place when visiting Amsterdam. Started off great, I ordered the pasta pollo funghi, the taste was amazing. After about a quarter the way through I came across raw chicken, had a little dig through and there was quite alot of uncooked chicken. I spoke to the waiter, made sure I was quiet so nobody else could here and I said I didn't want to make a big deal but showed him the raw chicken. He said he would show the chef, he took the pasta away and that was it. He cane back to clear the rest of the plates but didn't mention anything. We asked for the bill and the pasta was still on there, no acknowledgement of the raw chicken, didn't ask if I wanted anything in replacement, no apology, no denial just pretended it didn't happen. I would have asked for it to be removed but just didn't want to make a fuss just would have expected it to be removed...
