I don’t write reviews very often unless it’s an exceptional product. I recently purchased one of their Possum/Marino sweaters, and took it to Alaska, where I did some fishing for a couple weeks on the Kasilof and Kenai rivers. We were in a drift boat on a cold and wet Alaska afternoon, and our boat rescued at kayaker and his son who had dumped their kayak and were freezing; near hypothermic. We covered them in our expensive rain gear, and I was left exposed with just my Possum/Marino sweater as we drifted them to paramedics. I can’t tell you how warm it kept me even when it was a downpour. It’s warm when cold, cool when warm, relatively windproof, breathable, and comfy as hell. It’s like nature’s ultimately mix. Crazy adventure aside (father and son recovered nicely), it’s very stylish and sharp looking. I’ve washed it twice on cold, and air dried it with no issues at all. Since then, I’ve bought five more sweaters, a couple of hats, a couple of gloves, some socks and a scarf. They are a bit pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. What a delightful shopping experience! Ann, the owner, was ever so lovely. I was encouraged to try on multiple sweaters in a wide range of styles from the main store - loved many and yet still I wasn’t sure which one to choose. In a wisp of a minute I was invited to take walk over to their other storefront and found the perfect one! Came back the next day to purchase a few gifts for friends gloves, a neck warmer, leg warmers & got a beanie hat to match my cozy sweater.

I bought two sweaters here in 2024 and later received a 15% discount certificate for return business via e mail. I returned in February 2025 and purchased three more sweaters. I showed the 15% discount certificate with a view to claiming the benefit. The assistant looked at it on my phone, claimed to have no knowledge of this but went off to consult with someone. On her return she asked to see the certificate again but it had magically disappeared. How this occurred I know not. Needless to say, I was given no discount.
