I honestly wouldn’t recommend Norma’s bottomless brunch to anyone. At $79 per person it was an absolute waste of money.
Drinks were stingy: They brought out tiny carafe jugs that supposedly “fill four glasses with ice” — in reality, it was two and a half at best and were not taking tall glasses, the small ones. When we asked for more carafes at a time, instead of topping us up, they brought out cups of ice so that it filled more glasses. Seriously?
At one point we were told, “here’s some fries on the house because you’re drinking too fast.” Ummm, what?! That’s not how a bottomless is meant to work, we’d ordered our pizzas already.
No music (just low-energy jazz in the background), no atmosphere, no host creating a fun experience. For a birthday with 11 of us, the mood was completely flattened.
We were the only group doing bottomless, with only two other people in the whole place — which says a lot. Even the girl behind the bar (the one who gave us fries) was anti the entire time! Every time we approached the bar she seemed annoyed, had us all feeling like we pissed her off when actually we’re the customers who just paid over grand to be there in your empty establishment on a Saturday afternoon.
I’ve been to over 10 bottomless brunches across different venues and this was by far the worst experience. Bottomless should be about good vibes, flowing drinks, and great hosting. Norma’s offered none of that. If you can’t run a proper bottomless, you shouldn’t be...
Read moreI had a good experience because of the waiter Nik but apart from that I was incredibly disappointed. I was doing the set menu of a $70 “bottomless” brunch which is available for lunch and dinner and we picked lunch for a friends birthday celebration. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone, you are only entitled to one pizza and bottomless drinks which aren’t even bottomless. You are only allowed one drink at a time and they bring them out in carafes so you’re meant to share what would essentially be one drink. It took around 2 hours for our pizza to come out which is essentially just dough…. I would not recommend this to anyone it’s a waste of money and honestly a scam as you’re paging 70 dollars and you get one pizza and a couple of drinks. Not to mention the pizza is mini. Love yall but yall need some feedback and the lady waitress needs a drink and a break. And after waiting 2 hours for $70 dollars the pizza came out with a BIG FAT BLACK HAIR on it. Also another note, the BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH...
Read moreAs I always hunt for good pizza places, my partner and I decided to visit this renowned bar after hearing about its popularity. It happened to be Quiz Night on Tuesday, making the atmosphere lively with a full house of people. Since there were no available tables indoors, we had to sit outside under the moonlight, apparently it was a full moon.
We ordered two pizzas and some drinks: beer for me and gin for my partner. The bar offered a diverse selection of beers and spirits; my Lager was particularly delicious. The pizzas were fantastic. They were served uncut, resembling bakery-style pancakes, with crispy yet moist crusts. The first pizza, topped with Spanish chorizo, paired perfectly with my beer. The second, featuring Jalapenos, was slightly spicy and incredibly flavorful. Despite the relatively smaller sizes, the pizzas boasted excellent flavours and textures.
I highly recommend this bar for anyone looking to enjoy delicious pizzas and quality beers with their partner,...
