The staff are great, the place is clean and modern so it's a warm friendly enjoyable environment.

This is an extremely busy gym, clearly more members than the facility can accommodate. From 5:30am most mornings it's packed wall to wall.

Now although the the gym has a decent range of weights equipment, theres not anywhere near enough of it; so when it's busy you simply can't complete your workout as you can't get on the machine, the bench, can't get the dumbbell weight you need etc. And most people don't clean the equipment after themselves leaving you to clean up their disgusting sweat before you can touch or sit on it.

I've been going 5 x per week for 4 months now, so I'm basing this on good experience and observation. Evenings are even busier than mornings, believe me I've tried a range of times possible for the working man. (Before & after office hours) But it's almost impossible to go to his gym and complete your planned workout in time.

I came to Les Mills this past weekend wanting to purchase a two month membership as a surprise for my son. Once done, I texted my son with the news, only to find that he is heading off to Spain in a month for his OE. I returned to Les Mills, explained my situation and was told I would be contacted Monday. Get this...I WAS contacted on Monday and I was told I was being given a one month refund(after my son said to kiss that money goodbye). Both Andrea and Kim were incredibly friendly, conscientious, honest and prompt. Very poor handling of my contract switch. I came from a single club membership in Auckland City and was told at sign up that it won't be any problem switching clubs later on. Now that I wanted to switch to this one, I was told I would loose my promo discount that I signed up with. That's not how I imagine switching with no problem looks like.

I mean mistakes happen and I'm sure in the small fine print of the contract I signed, this was probably written. But the whole situation was very poorly handled by the Britomart management with little understanding for my side. On top, the Auckland City gym is actually much better. If you can,...
