This place is a good choice for udon soup! The concept is like the Marugame Udon in Waikiki, Hawaii. As u walk through the counter, u order what you like, and as fast as they can, they will make your udon right infront of your eyes, after that you are passing through some side dishes like prawn and veg tempura and other items and pick up if you like anything, and at the end you pay at the counter. After you pay there is a small section where you can garnish your soup, and also have some free side dishes! Udon soup was very good and tasty, i really like the noodles, al dente! The place is very busy since it’s lunchtime, many office workers come here. As I can see, customers are well trained, people here eat with the tray on the table, so when you finish your dish you bring the whole try to a bussing section where you put your dirty try, leaving your table clean! The setup of the restaurant was actually quite nice. Hence one of the reason we tried the restaurant.

No matter what my partner asked of the bigger gent. It was kinda hard to get an answer. Like placing tray for the noodles, dish to grab any deep fried sides etc. Like a canteen style setup. I understand if it was busy and some place can be abrupt. But being was only us, a simple explanation would have made it easy. If interaction was not allowed then put up a signs saying so.

The food. It's really disappointing. The deep fried sides were just warm as it was under wamer lamps. To make it worst the soup was also only warm. Unfortunately we couldn't finish the meals at all. Sorry but the place didn't work out for us and I couldn't recommend the place from our experience. Hey! But give them a try, your experiences could be best meals you...

We randomly stopped by to eat while walking around Myeongdong because we saw many people eating inside.

This place gets very crowded despite an ample amount of tables.

You order from a kiosk at the doorway and pick up your order at the next window. I am impressed how fast and efficient they are able to get your order ready.

I ordered the beef udon. The flavor was very good and the udon had that perfect chewy bouncy texture. Unfortunately, the gyudon was more on the fatty side. I would have preferred a leaner style of beef.

There is self-serve water and condiments available.
