Halt — Local services in Beyoğlu

I walked in at 19:50, the lady informed me she was closing shortly, so I quickly grabbed a few things I was going to buy as gifts. I was perusing super quick to make sure I’d be out of the shop and would have completed my purchase by the time the store closed at 8.

I had 4 items in hand, asked if one item was the last, and then she proceeded to tell me she was closed at 19:56.

I was ready to check out my items, told her so, but I guess she didn’t want to make a sale. It’s a shame because the store had really cute items but honestly that attitude just threw me off.

I absolutely understand wanting to close on time (hence why I was super quick) but not wanting to check out a customer 4 minutes before closing time...
