I was looking for the perfect gift for a milestone 50th birthday and wanted something different and unique. I came across Honey Willow and loved their pieces, particularly the ‘5 rings for 5 decades’ necklaces. What was even better is that they hand-make every piece and you are able to customise it (for example, I chose 3 of the rings to be gold filled instead of just 2). Honey Willow’s reviews were also consistently fantastic, so it was not a difficult decision to choose them (even though I am in Australia). The communication was excellent also, with staff taking the time to answer all questions and assist with my customisation. The item came beautifully wrapped, with a handwritten birthday note; there were also stickers on the box to show who crafted the piece (which I thought was a brilliant idea and connects you more to to it). Once I saw the actual piece on my friend it was absolutely gorgeous! The quality and overall look was just amazing. What an amazing experience with Honey Willow. I had ordered a necklace for my mum's 60th birthday and chose one of the designs on their website but had asked for a few alterations to individualise it and the Honey Willow team were extremely helpful and made a stunning necklace which I am sure my mum will love. Every request was carried out and the communication was so lovely and great. The completion of my order was very quick and I was updated about every step from finished product to delivery notification. The necklace arrived in a beautiful packaging with a personal handwritten note and pictures of the staff that was involved in the making of the necklace. I chose Honey Willow because its reviews are spectacular, and its origin story is wonderful. To me, the purchase of jewelry from a cookie cutter corporate behemoth seems anathema to the entire idea. Jewelry is intimate, thusly care should be taken in sourcing it. It should be crafted by a tradesperson with passion for her craft, by a team ever mindful where their creations go. Honey Willow, down to its lovely storefront I may never have the pleasure of visiting, embodies the essence of everything the intimate art and delivery of jewelry should be.
