WOW! I've literally never been more blown away! Firstly, to Dominique, Cerys and JJ, who served us, you guys were INCREDIBLE! They pulled out all the stops. We'd turned up without a reservation, and Cerys went out of her way to make sure we got a table. Dominique and JJ were absolutely on it with service, and all the staff were so just genuinley happy to be there and seemed to get on so well, which really made the experience for us.
And I can't stop raving about the food! My partner and I had the Wagyu Steak with Peppercorn sauce and Mash. You will be blown away by every bite! It was so masterfully done and cooked to perfection! Not only that, but their cocktail menu complimented the meal perfectly. The free ice cream was also the best and most flavourful ice cream I've ever had! Honestly, we can't rate this place enough!
If you're in Brighton, you have to visit! It's honestly beyond incredible! We will be back!
Lotsa love, Evie & Eli...
Read moreHaving visited lots of Flat Iron's in London many times, we decided to visit the Brighton one on its first night of opening (17.10.25). We were greeted nicely and first impressions downstairs were good but we were shown to our table at the back upstairs and we were slightly disappointed at the lack of atmosphere. Service, food and drinks were as expected and good. We were expecting a nice ice cream on the way out but it was not working.... slightly disappointing for first night of opening! This is the third time in a row that we've been unable to have an ice cream at the end of our FI meal. Appreciate that we can come back another day (if we don't lose the tiny meat cleaver) but as your ethos is a tasty ice cream at the end of your meal, this is a definite minus 1 experience. Overall a nice evening but there are a lot of 'nice' resraurants in Brighton, so won't be rushing back.... the London Flat Iron's are...
Read moreEverything about this place is great quirky and fun. From the free popcorn as you sit down to the quirky drinks and excellent staff. Me and the missus both had the flat iron, absolutely delicious. The truffle mac and cheese was so good. The beef dripping chips are how chips are supposed to be done!. I had the old fashioned which came in a hip flask which was fun, I'm a snob with old fashioned but this was one of the better ones ive had across many pubs and restaurants. Our attentive waiter Chris was great, cracking jokes and being real with us, even while he was busy another colleague checked in with us. The food and drink came quick and can't even think of a single complaint, only compliments.
Would visit again and would highly recommend. The free ice cream at the end is super...
