Another coffee shop gem - if I keep sharing all my secrets then they will get too busy !! The coffee shop at Regent Hall is a hidden gem. Great coffee, seriously great cakes, yummy sandwiches and (here is the best bit) sensible prices !! Where else on Oxford St can you get a great coffee and a lovely snack for six quid ?? Friendly staff, clean seating area, clean toilets (make note Starbucks), usually no queue Plus your are doing a bit of good too ! Don't be scared because it doesn't look like a cafe from the street. Go and treat yourself. At these prices, you can afford it.

Oh my goodness 😳 😍 I literally stumbled across this place by accident! Only to find out a FREE piano concert was taking place! How lucky were we, those in attendance! It was brilliant 👏🏾 thank you for allowing me to stay and enjoy such excellence. Based in the heart ❤️ of Londons Oxford Street..... check it out.... you won't be disappointed xx

I love this place, It's an incredible venue for live classical music. We have to look harder for quality live music but the program all year round at regent hall is first class. Friday lunchtimes at 1pm is the time and place to be. Plus an excellent cafe and atmosphere run by the under appreciated Salvation Army.

Although this is a Salvation Army citadel, with vibrant services at 1100 on Sundays, it is also one of London's best concert halls. Concerts are at 1300 on Fridays, and encompass a wide range of classical genre. Accoustics of this hall are excellent and they have a brilliant Steinway piano. Concerts vary from Military Band to students from London Conservatoire. I used to go to selected concerts which reflected my interest, but I now go to everything, as they get brilliant performers every week. (Search 'Regent Hall concerts ' to see what is on -- or just go along as you won't be disappointed.) In January they have both the Countess of Wessex String Orchestra CWSO (January 10 2025 and Band of the Grenadier Guards (January 31 2025). (CWSO are the Buckingham Palace Orchestra!)

Do go along any Friday. You are certain to be...

Ah! Now I LOVED this place! I stumbled across it when I was searching for somewhere to rest and revive myself. Being a Christian, I was delighted to find somewhere different to coffee shops. I enjoyed a lovely veggie omelette. Mayfair had nowhere to go. That place is for big spenders who will probably walk home or jump back into their fancy car and wine & dine in a fancy restaurant that we don't know anything about. It was my first ever experience in Mayfair as I dared walk through the arcade (with a 'B'?) At the other end were shops, the likes of which I have never seen before. 😊 Astonishing to...
