This place seems to have every candy you can think of. Gummies..big and small in multiple flavors. Chocolates from around the globe as well as truffles and other sweets they make there...including macaroons. You can purchase a tin and mix & match what ever you want..just run around the store and add a scoop here & there of anything you desire. It is quite expensive, I want to say it will set you back about $30.00 if you get a big tin without an insert. The insert if you purchase a tin with it has 4 sections and is a rather bulky plastic you put in the tin and it limits the amount of candy you can put in because it takes a lot of room itself. Did I also mention they have beverages. My favorite is Sprecher Cream Soda..omg it's amazing. You must try if you are a cream soda lover..u will not be disappointed! I will say that although we used the scooper to get a candy out of the bun to sample as we dropped it in our hand, one of the staff advised us we need to ask 1st..so don't get chewed out like we did...but then again this same staff told me I could not take pictures of the store..that is until I advised her It was for a google review. Maybe she was just a little bossy but either way watch...
Read moreThis review is specifically for the extremely rude, tall employee at the store. Scoop wasn’t working since the candy I was trying to grab was so large so grabbed 2 (and only the 2) pieces of candy with my hand. for the pouch for purchase. I’m a grown adult. I work in the service industry. I was approached by the employee and told “please don’t put your hands in the jar” I apologized and moved on, but the employee seemed bent on lecturing me telling me how “unsanitary I was being ” and then proceeded to grab the entire jar from in front of me and carried it up to the front in front of other customers, as if I was a child. It’s not like I would’ve even been able to ask for help because at the time both employees, from what I saw, were helping customers at the front. Meanwhile, teens and kids were stealing candy left and right of me while I was singled out?
Thought this was a pretty insane way to treat a paying customer. Definitely won’t be back. Would’ve totally let it go and not said anything if the employee let it go. Candy not worth the...
Read moreToday, I witnessed an unpleasant situation and feel the need to speak up in defense of the store employee. She politely addressed two women and kindly asked them not to touch the candies with their hands, but to use the provided scoops instead. The women reacted with irritation and said she was “so rude.” However, I personally heard the interaction, and I can say with full confidence that there was absolutely nothing rude about the way she spoke.
As a customer, I actually felt uncomfortable seeing someone handle candies with bare hands. It made me lose any desire to purchase those items. And this is not the employee’s fault — it’s the fault of people who choose to ignore basic hygiene and respond negatively to a reasonable and respectful request.
I fully support the employee and appreciate that she tried to maintain cleanliness and order. Her request was polite, appropriate, and entirely justified — and in my opinion, this is exactly how it should be...
