OAKLEY — Local services in Albuquerque

Although it is owned by a different parent company, Oakley active stuff works well with prescription eyewear and sports. Desiree(sp?)is a great sales person and optical representative for this company. We love working with her when we get prescription Oakley products!

Update: Desiree (one of the managers and Oakley optician) is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional. Her attention to detail about wide bridge and standard bridge/smaller face fits made the experience so much better for us both. We go to her specifically to get prescription Oakley eyewear. We wouldn't go any place else. It would make us feel even better about the experience if we knew she had a more ergonomic and height allowable point of sale system, where she could easily access the terminal and not have to tiptoe to successfully see the computer screen. Watching her tiptoe and awkwardly reach under her POS counter was rather worrisome for me personally as someone who teaches biomechanically safe and repeatable movements in my industry. This store and its staff are completely worthless. I was in need of new glasses for a baseball tournament 3 and a half weeks from when I came in October 3, 2022. I explained my situation and was told glasses would be ready by then so I ordered them. When calling the store after 2 weeks. I have been told they had shipped and they would call me when mail came. Desiree the rep I worked with promised a call back and never called at all. I called and was told they were in, drove completely across town only to find out the frames were here not the lenses. I have called and asked for a callback from a manager and never received anything. On Friday and today when I called the only answer was they might be lost in the mail. Not one person in that store has followed up or can give me a legitimate answer. Yet they were first to say this is a medical device and has to be treated as such. $500 plus later no response, no glasses...

I really appreciate all the care and concern Desiree showed me today when I came in to order prescription sunglasses. She really took the time to actually listen to what I needed and wanted and you could tell from the get-go that she is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the prescription eyewear industry. Desiree answered all of my questions and really took the time to do the measuring of my eyes in the frames I chose. Like my grandpa always said, "measure twice, cut once" - Desiree took all of my measurements twice. This made me feel very calm and peaceful about the entire order.
