I’ve loved stopping by Mlle Antoinette’s Parfumerie in Disneyland as a fun indulgence on our quarterly visits. I’m a loyal fan of the Guerlain makeup line and used to enjoy supporting this store—not just for the products, but because I appreciated the knowledgeable, personable staff. I even stayed in touch between trips to hear about new promos and set aside a Disney gift card specifically for these purchases.
Let’s be honest: Guerlain isn’t something you can easily find in stores anymore—it’s mostly online through department stores, and yes, they’ll occasionally offer blanket discounts at end of year or around Mother’s Day. But I liked coming here because it felt like a unique Disney experience.
But this visit? Complete disappointment. I was told they no longer honor the 10% Disney Magic Key (annual passholder) discount at my tier. For context, higher membership levels get an even bigger discount, so this wasn’t exactly a game-changing perk. It was a small gesture that made spending at Disney feel a little more valued, especially when annual pass prices keep climbing every year.
The worst part? The staff made no apology, no effort to override it, no explanation or courtesy notice ahead of time—even though they had set aside the product for me knowing I was coming. They acted like it was no big deal. No follow-up text, no offer to look into it or see if things might change. Just indifference.
For a company that profits so heavily off its loyal fan base, this felt like a clear message that repeat customers don’t matter. I can pay full price anywhere—and frankly, I can have Guerlain delivered directly to my door. There’s no reason for me to buy it at Disney now, especially knowing they’ve stripped away even the smallest loyalty perks and personalized service.
I expected better. Unfortunately, this store has lost my business—and I doubt I’ll be the only one...

Read moreThis place is a joke. Not at all the place it used to be. First, all they carry is Guerlain. They used to carry much more, now only Guerlain. Oh and half of the stuff on display they can't sell you because they are out of stock. Why display it then? Why not at least place an out-of-stock sign on it? Why give you the price, you ask for it, and only then will they tell you that it is not for sale? Save your time and just...
