Disney Home — Local services in Anaheim

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced with my family in all of the many visits we have had to Downtown Disney. We had a wonderful experience with the ladies in the Wonderground Gallery as always but unfortunately for us our visit to Disney Home felt like anything but home because of Yvette's mediocre service and condescending attitude. All because she THOUGHT she was correct when using annual pass discount. She told my wife she couldn't pay with her money because her mother happened to be holding it for her in her purse and that as her husband I couldn't hand her money unless I paid for it. Well to her dismay I have my own annual pass so in the end that was all for nothing. Comments like "If you read the back of your pass card you'd know that" or "I already told you no you're not listening to me". We're what I was met with and oh at the end of it as I said thank you all I received was an eye roll.

In all the years we have visited Disney Anaheim I am appalled at the exchanged we've endured today. There has never been an experience so negative that it truly causes me to consider if I'd ever step foot in Disney Home again knowing that I may have to encounter such a rude and inconsiderate staff member.

I had seen Disney Home several times while visiting Downtown Disney, but this time I decided to go in since there wasn't a crowd. The store is super cute! They offer a variety of seasonal Disney items for the home, including Disney kitchen items and other home decor. They have an adorable selection of mugs, cups, and ornaments. The staff were really nice and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. I ended up buying an ornament for my Christmas tree this year. Interesting decision that Downtown Disney decided replace the original Vinylmation store with this Disney Home store. Guess Disney Vinyls weren't selling that well anymore... We've always been huge fans of the Disney's home stuff and we were happy to see all the Disney home items clearly out on display in a single location rather than having to rummage through the entire World of Disney store.
