Baymont Inn seemed like a nice place when I first checked in. However, when my family & I were going to our room, the front desk manager met us at the door and told us she had placed us in a room that was already occupied. I am disabled and needed a 1st floor room. She then had to place us in another room on the 2nd floor which was smaller than what I had reserved. Their room was less than satisfactory. The bathroom had water damage from the 3rd floor bathroom above us and black mold growing as well. The shelf above the toilet that held our towels was falling out of the wall, the toilet seat looked as though it had seen better days and there was a hole in the door from what looked as though someone put their fist through it. There was also heavy traffic coming and going in the parking lot where patrons of the hotel were purchasing drugs. My children were scared due to the banging and screaming coming from the next room beside ours and when I complained, nothing was done with the disturbance. Upon leaving, the same noisy patron was screaming and banging things around with the sounds of a woman crying coming from the room as well. I will not return to this hotel as the experience was unsatisfactory and left much to be desired.

It was a place to stay. I got a King Bed Suite, with a Jacuzzi. I always hope that they would put attention into cleaning their most luxurious rooms, but it was not the case here. The room was very dirty and not safe. I was in room 108 and paid $100 a night. Immediately when I got into the room, I stepped on tiny shards of glass that were spread across the entire carpet. I stole, er.. borrowed.. the housekeepers vacuum to clean it up. Then later that night, got into the Jacuzzi and sat on a large piece of glass, which just scratched me luckily. I showed the front desk and immediately the guy offered to cancel my reservation with no other options. No refund, no offer for another room, just a cancellation. So just said forget it, I will just give the hotel a bad but honest review. The Jacuzzi also spat dirt and spider out from the jets. So I filled it up and emptied it 3 times to clear out the jets, and went and bought sanitizer wipes to wipe everything down. A lot of brown showed up on the wipes. Crumbs under the chairs, burn holes in the non-smoking rooms bed and linens. No lock on the ground floor window. I like the Baymont, but this one in Anderson sucked really bad. Dirty, dangerous.

Sometimes, you take a chance on a motel that is low price and hope you still get good value. In this case, I may have had too high of an expectation. As you can see from the pictures, the room is quite cramped. It also has furniture and lighting fixtures that remind you how long this Baymont has been open. Yet, those things would be ok if the bathroom floor wasn't dirty. It was. And some of the stains remain after an additional cleaning by the local staff who quickly responded after my first review on Expedia. Just remember what you're paying when you come to this Baymont. You will enjoy a quiet room as the building is far from the interstate and main roads. The staff is friendly, and ask for bath towels and face cloths, as I had to. None were provided in the room by default.

The front desk worker was absolutely horrible to me, I reported her behavior to HR, & informed them they needed to rollback cameras, her name is lacy, I couldn't believe she still was employed, I couldn't have been the 1st customer she done this to, she was extremely comfortable and confident with how she treated me. Then, she refused to let me into my room, to get the remaining belongings I had during check out. It was 11:03, her excuse, my name wasn't on the room, regardless of friend paying for the night, putting it in his name, a 2 bed, for 2 people, when I asked if she would call his cellphone, so should get verification i was the other person, she said no, that she don't have to do anything she don't want to, for me, as far as she was concerned, it was after 11am, I'm not a customer...I was completely blown away, then to top it off, she tried scaring me, by telling me, if I didn't leave, she would call the cops, wheni said please call them, hoping I would finally get something accomplished, after all, the police are supposed to help resolve a situation, not these cops, she completely lied to the officer, & he took her word, being that she's held to standards, after all she was the employee...and now, this is day 2, the staff at baymont, in Anderson, have refused to give me my personal belongings, this includes my daily medicine, along with my purse. I've called multiple times, each employee refuses to allow me to get my personal iteams. I feel this is a situation, no different then theft..we aren't allowed to walk down the street and grab each others belongings, so why is someone, hiding behind and abusing the fact that she's a employee, to keep my personal belongings, my Health medication, I take daily. Along with my purse, and clothing items. I'm going to push and push, in every area possible, to make sure all the employees at the baymont, in Anderson indiana, are held accountable for their actions and using the officers of APD, to do the work, to allow the employees miss behavior to be just. I've called the police department to try to get help, multiple times, in the 24hrs prior to all this, & I'm the 1 being Treated as if I'm wrong. I will push and push, in every area, till I make sure the audio and video footage of that morning is viewed by the employees over seeing the baymont in Anderson, Indiana. Its a absolute shame, & I am disgusted with the fact that I've been allowed such mistreatment, & that even the city police, completely disregard having to do some real work, instead, cosigned and backed up, the employee, that, when video footage of that morning, is finally viewed, will show, her mean, nasty, loud, disrespectful mouth, in action. I will push & continue to push, until I know for facts, the video was viewed, and not only 1, but at least 4 employees, from the Anderson baymont, will loose their jobs. After all, they take those jobs for granted, acting anyway they wish, at any time, without any reprocution. I will make sure, the misstreatment i suffurd will never happen to another person. No words explain the torment I endord, but employees of baymont, then those employees, be allowed support, without question, from our fellow officers, in town. I've never seen so disgusted by our towns citizens. I will not let this issue go. Situations like I've been put through, should never be even the slightest...

Me and my kids were excited to come to your property and we drove from our own town to Anderson to stay with you guys. Once we arrived the excitement changed to stress and feeling taken advantage of, I was convinced from the clerk Rob, that the reservation through Expedia had incorrect credit card information, that I was concerned about he didn't care btw he was still going to charge the unknown card and I refused, so he convinces me that I was not going to be charged for the first reservation through Expedia and I could rent a room directly through Baymont with him and just pay for it and I was fine with that and my kids were so excited. He has me sign for the record I purchased directly at the hotel property and I have my card in the machine but I never give a final ok so when he tells me to take it out and try again I just think it didn't read my card so I try my card again and he has me sign another paper but it's the same paper I already signed and I started feeling uncomfortable about it and then when he rips up my first document I signed, I decided to check my bank account and see he has charged me for both of the the first reservation and the room I got at the property in person and I notify Expedia and they reach out to the hotel and the clerk Rob refuses to refund the first reservation and he has not been honest, i never even stepped foot in the other room I didn't need 2 rooms for the same date and time, but rob still had me booked in amd active in both rooms and charged for both. Not only did he manipulate me and fraudulently took money from me and my kids I mean just straight took it right in front of me, but I couldn't get any straight answer and he never came to the counter for me the rest of the night, he would just leave me standing at the front desk and he never came to see what I needed honestly I would wait for 15 minutes at a time and I didn't even get to enjoy the room with the kids after being charged around 350.00$ for one night and feeling like Baymont didn't have any compassion or even cared about me or my family im sorry I am not rich and 100$ is a lot to me but I think I'm more upset about the way I felt treated, I would never want someone to leave my establishment or something I represent feelings the way me and my children did today. Btw we drove from our town to stay with at your place because we thought it would be safe and friendly but I honestly was a little nervous and didn't trust the workers. I am wondering what the mission statement is for this franchise because I want to believe it isn't the business as a whole I just got to meet the bad seed of...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a HORRIBLE experience! When we got there 10 o’clock at night after traveling all day. We walked into a musty smelling room with blood stains on the chair/carpet. Dingy sheets which may or maynot have been washed prior to our arrival. The tub was black which may or maynot have been mold stains and dingy towels that looked like they were unwashed. When we called down to the front desk to request another room, Norman advised us that they were full and was unable to accommodate our request. Since we were unable to switch rooms, it would have been nice if we could have at least have someone clean the tub so that we could take a shower after traveling all day. Norman then advised us that he had all the cleaning supplies handy, and we were more than welcome to come and get the supplies at the front desk and clean it ourselves. When we requested to speak with a manager, we had to wait till the next morning to do so, as well as having the option to switch rooms. Needless to say it was a miserable night sleeping in the car with no shower. The next morning, the manager was able to switch our rooms for us but offered no apology. When we request a refund for the first night ($70), he stated that he could only give us a check for $20 and we needed to contact Expedia for a refund. The next day we called Expedia, who then advised us that it was up to the hotel to give them authorization to refund the first night. The hotel manager then advised Expedia that they were unaware of any issues reported, although we had a check written by him for $20. The provided the worse service imaginable and very unhelpful. This hotel is independently owned and operated by J & M Motel LLC. Very disappointed that Wyndham would be associated with such a trashy...
