Stillwell Manor Haunted Attraction — Attraction in Anderson

Took my daughter to the hardly haunted for $5 yesterday.

Got stuck with another group that we didn't even know. When it came to getting our pictures taken they had us do one with the people we did not know, and I didn't even get the picture. They sent the picture to the other group and told me I had to deal with them to get OUR picture. Who wants to give their phone number to a stranger. On top of the stranger having pictures of us. So that ruined our picture we didnt get and ruined their family picture (Even tho the strangers was nice). I wasn't even ready for the picture because I was still trying to get in position and to take the picture but they took the picture anyways as I was still moving an didn't let me see it. Then on top of that the characters weren't even nice to my daughter they ignored her barely gave her any candy didn't give her a balloon like they did the other group and they only paid attention to the other group. She felt so left out and was upset that people would be so mean to someone especially a kid. She was so excited to come to this and they ruined it for her. Yes it was only $5 dollars but still its not about that it's about the memories this place ruined for both of us.

They only let you go through one haunt instead of all of them like they used to.

I went last year with me sister and my mom and aunt it was great it was my first time we went on Halloween the first attraction was really good! I loved it!! The freak show was pretty good it wasn't as fun as the first and last attractions though I thought the wait time in the lines were pretty good just because I could use the restroom in between and still be in liken Tantibus was by far the best but the slide was scary the actors did very well and they didn't really touch you just a tap on the shoulder sometimes which was good! And I am planning on coming back this year and maybe some day even working there HIGHLY RECOMMEND if your going to a haunted house and the shirts are super cool and not that expensive mine was 11$ and I still...

I've been to Stillwell a few times and been pleased every one. I LOVE haunted houses... but I'm extremely claustrophobic. The folks at Stillwell understand that providing a good experience for their guests is paramount over just scaring them. And they did indeed scare the living daylights out of me without sending me into a panic attack by forcing me into small spaces that I couldn't handle. I hope some of the scarers read this review and know that they are excellent at their jobs and they've made a lifelong customer out of me, not only due to the care they put into their work, but also understanding that they've provided a haunt that...
