So I used to buy jewelry on auction and resell it and I went back through what I had left and found I had a bangle bracelet that stamped CH14K as well as, l 3 10kt gold rings. I had already taken the time to acid test them and all tested at 10k gold. So I took them into the Smokey point location to have them checked out because that would be awesome cuz frankly I could use the money I'm hungry and outta gas. So I'm buzzed in I go up to the counter and this lady with short blonde hair says " how can I help you"I say well I think I have some gold here I'd like to get it checked out and she turns around and starts looking at him and immediately says the first bracelet's not real and I say okay and she says the second bracelet that is stamped 14k she had to look at it five times and then turned around and said it's not real and I said it says 14k and she goes it's fake now how is she going to know that it's why would it be fake so if it's not stamped 14K it's fake if it's and it's not 14K but if it's stamped 14k it's fake that doesn't make any sense so then she moves on to the rings and she barely even looks at them and puts them on the counter and says nope these are all fake and I said you didn't even test them and she goes I go they tested 10K with my acid test and she goes well they won't with mine or snotty and rude and proceeded to just look at me with disgust and that's not good customer service like she was discriminating against me be some what I look like and that's not okay I've been in that store numerous times and the girls who work there have looked at my jewelry that I've gotten off auctions number of times for me and made sure there wasn't I wasn't missing something as far as a valuable piece so those girls are wonderful but this lady she was so rude and I think I've actually dealt with her before I think at the Marysville location I will came in one day with my daughter until and it was hard I just had her and I was bringing in some jewelry that my mom had left me after she passed away and she treated me like it was stolen and wouldn't even look at it and then when I got finally said you're really not even going to look at the the black spinel necklace she she immediately started looking at it again and then made a big ass pile and then offered me $25 I took that as an insult I have noticed that Lizzie's has a bad habit of judging people by the way they look not every person has money not every person has a home to live in or shower to have every day or food to eat everyday and just because some of us don't have that doesn't mean that we're criminals or doing shady business and I think it's unfair that you treat people like that haven't you ever heard Don't judge a book...
Read moreThe biggest scam artists I've ever come across. I went in back in 2022 with a ring purchased from Fred Meyer Jewelers worth 4k. These people had a security guard appraise the piece at $800 at first. I left and came back a year later to see if I could get someone with more experience and better qualified for this type of exchange. This time they gave me 2 high school dropouts who wouldn't know their arses from a hole in the ground to examine the ring. These two Ren and Stempy's tried to scam a lady that was in line before me and she had a certificate of some sort and they still tried to rip her off. I went along with it just to see what would happen this time and things got even worse. So they tried to nail me saying they'll do $400 for my piece lol wow and NO WAY. Guess what I did? Walked out and never looked back of course. It's been over a year and was driving through the neighborhood and remembered just how terrible both my experiences were with this "establishment" if you can even call it that. I decided to finally tell my story and keep it pushin'. I'm sure they'll try an get this removed because Google has absolutely zero integrity and protect shady businesses that are just like them. I DO...
Read moreLizzy's is a great local business that has expanded to many different nearby locations.
I have a step-father that is aging and always looking for a deal and he keeps falling into internet scams. I have been able to take him to Lizzy's so they can confirm for him that he really didn't just buy a bunch of silver at 1/2 the spot price. They are always respectful and explain to him the reasons he should not have made the purchase. They then are able to offer real coins at a good and appropriate price if has been hard watching him continue to fall into these traps, but I know they will always help him and help me to explain it for him.
He has recently taken my daughter to Lizzy's to buy me a gift assuring her that she could trust them. I am lucky to have an honest business nearby to help as he ages and I hope soon he will always look to them for his deals. Until then they can help me explain the bad deals and get him some real silver
Thank...
