In Asheville for a “mother and son” weekend getaway, I surprised my mother with an hour-long private enamel/jewelry-making lesson with Jessica. What an incredible experience to tag on to our afternoon browsing the River Arts District. Jessica is a great teacher, patient and knowledgeable, and the studio is clean and well organized. However, I really appreciate the thought and planning she puts into these lessons. This was the perfect “bite-sized” jewelery making experience. Great for bonding with friends (or family!), with the added benefit that you actually get to make a beautiful keepsake. Take a break from shopping and make something with your hands. I acquired my first piece of Bluebird Design jewelry almost three years ago and have since purchased pieces for my mother, my daughter, my sister in law, and my best friend.
