is a 22-acre (89,000 m2) public park located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, owned and operated by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority. It was built by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) as part of the infrastructure improvements for the 1996 Summer Olympics. The park is surrounded by many major Atlanta Landmarks; the Georgia World Congress Center, College Football Hall of Fame, State Farm Arena, the CNN Center, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium are all on the west side of the park and the Georgia Aquarium, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the World of Coca-Cola on the north side of the park.

This place has memories I have coming to the best I love about the city grew up through culture and living in The ATL. My family and I first came to Centennial when Urban One (formerly Radio One) had Praise 102.5's Praise In The Park for a few years from every year they had it there just before moving their event to a new location. I still enjoy coming to Centennial for the reasons I work at Mercedes-Benz Stadium are the times I like seeing the view around Atlanta.

This park is amazing, any age can enjoy it , itโ€™s peaceful and has lots of greenery and fountains all around , I love the time we spend there this weekend and will definitely return . Itโ€™s a great spot and has lots of places nearby, you can spend the whole day here . Love it

For visitors staying in the Centennial Park area wishing to visit the MLK historic park, this is an amazingly convenient, affordable option. The tram runs on a loop between the two sites, with numerous stops along the way. You just hop on board and slip a dollar into the glass fare box. No cards to buy, no apps to download. Iโ€™m surprised more people donโ€™t take...
