I recently visited Lashtyp and was very excited about getting my lashes done as I had seen some of their work on line and one of their celebrity clients gave them rave reviews. However, my experience when I got there was not a good one. My appointment was at 5:45 and I was there on time but as soon as I stepped in the tech that opened the door told me that it was only 3 of them there and they were with clients....I was a bit baffled because I made my appointment on line through their website and paid my deposit. I sat in the front lobby area from 5:45 til 6:20 and no one came to ask me anything until I got ready to leave. Only then did the tech who met me at the door ask if I had an appointment. I showed her my e-mail confirmation and she said that it didn’t show up on the calendar. She then asked if I wanted to reschedule after I sat there for all that time and I replied NO. At that time Tommie stepped out and said that she would do my lashes if I could wait a few minutes. I must say that Tommie did a great job but when she finished she gave me instructions on how to care for my lashes, her card and how to pay. She then stepped away. I paid, waited for her to come back so I could say Thank You for her services but she never came back. Meanwhile, the tech who originally told me that there were only 3 techs on site never looked up as she watched images on her cellphone to say anything. As a matter of fact she never looked up until I said please tell Tommie I said Thank you and she replied yeah she said thank you. Read moreUPDATE: The owner had her assistant/receptionist call me asking to take down my review. Since I do not answer calls from unknown numbers, Tierra left a voicemail. Sadly, I am unable to post the voicemail, but I did email a copy of it to the owner since she claims I failed to show. She is more concerned with the negative review, although she has PLENTY already!
UPDATE: as I said the owner is unprofessional! Clearly she does not see that she contradicts herself in the text that she sent to me. Also, I have already received my money back through my bank after explaining the situation to them. As previously stated, I would not waste my time here.
I scheduled an appointment for 6/5, when I arrived there was only 1 person there. She advised me that I was not on the schedule, and that there was no one there. She told me she would change my appointment to 6/6. I called around 3pm to confirm my appointment so that I did not waste my time driving there again. I was again told that I was not on the schedule, and the person that does the service was gone for the day, but that they would call her to see where she was and give me a call back. I never received a call back. I called today to request a refund. The owners assistant advised me that the owner stated she would not give me a refund due to them waiting around yesterday for me. The owner is completely unprofessional and fails to take accountability. I advised them that me asking for a refund was a courtesy and that I will dispute through my bank instead. I scheduled a lash volume class a week and a half in advance and called before and talked to the owner Tiffany. She told me she would send me my materials on multiple occasions and she didn't. I've tried to get in contact every day since then(emailed, called) and no answer. then the day before the appointment I texted her and asked if my appointment was confirmed and she said yes she would overnight the items because she was sick. (she wasn't sick, I had a very close friend who confirmed she wasn't) then the day come of my appt she completely ignored me and my calls then said when I asked for a refund she ignored me again. I asked again, and she said she doesn't usually grant refunds but she would grant me one. A week later, and absolutely NO REFUND. Mind you I paid a $200 deposit and no where on her site or policy says deposits are nonrefundable. but regardless, the fact that she charged me for an appointment that SHE missed and a service that was never rendered to me is absurd.
