I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aamar Indian Cuisine in downtown Atlanta, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, the experience was exceptional in every aspect.

The food at Aamar Indian Cuisine was simply outstanding. We started our meal with their samosas, and they were absolutely wonderful. The crispy exterior and the flavorful filling made for a delightful appetizer. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, leaving us craving for more. The quality of ingredients and the expertise in preparing the dish was evident.

Not only was the food outstanding, but the service at Aamar Indian Cuisine was top-notch. The staff members were polite, courteous, and extremely friendly. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and their attentive nature throughout the meal was truly commendable. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to assist with any queries made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy our meal. The attention to detail in the decor and the comfortable seating added to the overall dining experience.

In addition to the delectable samosas and excellent service, I would like to highlight a few more positive aspects of Aamar Indian Cuisine. Firstly, the menu offered a wide variety of Indian dishes, catering to different preferences and dietary requirements. Secondly, the presentation of the food was visually appealing, showcasing the chef's creativity and passion. Lastly, the portion sizes were generous, ensuring that we left the restaurant fully satisfied.

Overall, I can confidently say that Aamar Indian Cuisine is a gem in downtown Atlanta. The combination of exceptional food, polite and friendly service, cozy ambiance, and attention to detail creates an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend Aamar Indian Cuisine to anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Indian...

They always have a crowd so I guess their food is pretty good. Their very quick with having their to go orders ready.

6/26/2019 Update: Visit two days ago the service was very slow & they wasn't busy. The to go order took 30+mins. The CS can use some improvement. They have very small sitting area in the inside & outside. Theirs surrounded by hotels & other tourist attractions in that area such as Centennial Park, The Ferris Wheel A Chick Fil A

7/19/2021 My family & I have finally eaten here. My daughter got the butter chicken, not sure what I got. I have to look at the menu again. The Customer Service had improved when we visit. We've actually eaten here more than twice now. Looking forward to eating here again soon. Indian food is good good all that watching Grandpa's Kitchen wishing for a plate plate finally paid off(lol) but serious. Some of the best food I've ever had & am a very pickie eater.

September 6, 2021 ON TODAY I went to go order butter chicken for my daughter. Upon arrival there was no hello or anything. I proceed with my order. I said I would like to order butter chicken. The guy ask me is it for you.? In my mind I'm thinking why & what do that have to do with anything. I never respond. If I said I want to order butter chicken it's definitely not a delivery cause he did point at the delivery orders. But that was weird. So he ask about the bread I called my daughter to see which bread she wanted and proceeds with the order it comes to 20.83. After that I'll never go back is it for you.? Why would you ask me that? Now I'm Conscious about eating the food. The whole vibe said I don't like your kind. Once again they like our money but NEVER US.

August 3, 2022 My daughters did give them another try since the LAST review an had a better experience all around. Must go when grandpa is present. The experience is always more WELCOMING.

February 2025 We have gone back since but not as often and the service has improved so I'll...

Exceptional Flavors, Disappointing Presentation: A Mixed Bag

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this Indian restaurant, and I must say, the Chicken Tikka Masala was among the best I've tasted in the last two to three years. The flavors were rich, the spices perfectly balanced, and the chicken wonderfully tender – a truly exquisite culinary experience that almost swept me off my feet.

Unfortunately, this culinary highlight was significantly overshadowed by the food's presentation. I was genuinely shocked when my meal arrived on plastic plates accompanied by plastic cutlery. The rice came in a plastic container, and even the chicken was served in another.

It's truly baffling to me how a restaurant in the USA, with roots in a country like India and its 1.4 billion people, can rely so heavily on single-use plastics.

This massive production of waste isn't just environmentally damaging; it's entirely unnecessary. In the long run, it's even more cost-effective to switch to reusable dinnerware like ceramic plates, glasses, and metal cutlery, rather than producing an avalanche of trash for every single guest.

The sheer waste and evident lack of environmental consideration, unfortunately, soured an otherwise outstanding dining experience for me. One of the service team excused („since Corona“), the other on did not even react in an adequate way.

Just feels like „Uber Eats“, but worse (at home I have better equipment).

I sincerely hope this restaurant reconsiders its practices. By investing in high-quality, reusable dinnerware, they could present their fantastic food in a fitting manner, offering an all-around positive experience. Until then, despite the delicious food, a bitter...

First, not sure if they’re saving money with styrofoam plates and plastic utensils and ToGo containers… I understand it costs money to run a business but they totally cheap out, so if you’re looking for fancy this isn’t it, don’t be surprised at the plates and utensils. They give you a bottle of water instead of tap so that’s nice. The tandoori wings were ok, but not a lot of meat compared to the last time I had them and lacked flavor. I ordered the Butter chicken it wasn’t chunks of chicken like I’m used to with other places, I was disappointed that when it came out it was all in To Go containers so if you are looking for the authentic family style glass bowls and hot plates this is probably not the place for you. The chicken was cut into 3” long by 1/4” slices and looked like carrots I could also tell it was frozen. I had to ask if it was chicken as it was so small and had no flavor, also very dry at one point i thought maybe they accidentally gave me curry. I’d like to give a better review but for the money I spent on the meal it’s not worth it. It seems like they cut a lot of corners to save some money and it shows. I spent $40 not including the tip. The service was great but they need to work on the quality of food and just buy a dishwasher.
