Do Not Disturb — Local services in Atlanta

This review is for the massage service I booked for Mother’s Day. I arrived early and was greeted by Lily, who directed me to the waiting area. 10 minutes past my appointment time Lily let me know she was checking in with my massage therapist, who I assumed was on site and running behind. Several times Lily told me the therapist would only be another 10 minutes. However the time kept going up, so at some point I asked for a refund when I realized the therapist wasn’t even on site. Lily then offered a free 50 minute massage in addition to the refund that I could use at a later time, but a few minutes later she told me I had to use it same day. I don’t think this was her fault, because I could tell she was texting with management to work out the situation. She assured me the therapist was coming in any minute. Ultimately, the therapist was close to 40 minutes late due to public transportation delays. The whole massage felt rushed, and while she did do a good job working out kinks in my neck and back. She did not bother to massage the rest of my body and instead just stretched me. On top of that, the lights in the room are not dimmable to a suitable relaxing setting. When I flipped over it was a bright light in my face, even with my eyes closed it was uncomfortable. The room was cold, no proper storage area for personal belongings, and no calming music. I could hear every door opening and closing while the therapist talked the whole time. Based on what I was told, massages seem to be a new service, there is only one person doing them on sundays, and there’s A LOT to be worked out to improve this service. I can’t speak on other services they offer, but i would not recommend anyone book a massage here.

UPDATE: the owner called me to complain about me leaving a review. I posted an unbiased review, the good and the bad. He implied that because I accepted a free massage, I shouldn’t post this review. Had I known accepting a free massage meant I couldn’t post a review, I wouldn’t have accepted. He also mentioned how much I tipped which is unprofessional, given most people wouldn’t have after all that occurred. On top of that I was caught off guard being asked about a tip at checkout. Had I had a better experience, there would be a better tip. You can’t shame me on that! It was Mother’s Day. A day to celebrate myself. I’m also fairly certain he was present when Lily was checking me out and he didn’t even say anything to me. Yes, I highlighted there was a beneficial aspect of the massage, but I still wouldn’t come back. Two things can be true. I felt the conversation wasn’t productive so I hung up and he called me from another number. We can have our difference of opinion, but please don’t call me...

Visited Do Not Disturb because there were very limited options for recovery and wellness on the Southside so I made the rive to ponce city market and was left speechless. The place feels like LUXURY the moment you walk in. everything feels spacious, clean and modern you can tell that they put everything together with love and care. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first got there but it was definitely a vibe. Staff was super nice, they gave me a tour of everything. I didn't get a massage because of time but to know it's offered is amazing. I did the cold plunge and sauna which was amazing to do in your own PRIVATE room. I took a shower after which was steps away from the sauna man that was so clutch. I then used the normatec leg compression sleeves and man that ish felt so good after a long running week. but my favorite part had to be the Nike Hyperice shoes with he heat and compression. I also used the massage gun at the same time and was in heaven. I invited two of my clients to check out the place as well and they absolutely loved it too. Before I left I was already mentally planning out when I was going to come back and im bringing my girlfriend...

I’m a date night planner, and I surprised one of my couples with this beautiful experience at Do Not Disturb, and it was absolutely lovely! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless and memorable.
