If I could just review the gal who did my facial, Amber, I would easily give heyday 5 stars! She was incredible and clearly an expert on skincare, her recommendations were excellent.

However, I just didn’t like the overall vibe of the place. Rather than being in your own dedicated room, you’re all in an open room surrounded by curtains. The music is good but quite loud (maybe to drown out the construction next door? Could just be a temporary thing..). Then the price is quite high in comparison to other equivalent facial studios in the ATL area and they only have one option for a 50 min facial. While I had a great experience with Amber, I would personally return to other facial studios I’ve been to over heyday as I believe they provide a better, more relaxing experience and have more options for your facial.

Update: ended up having an allergic reaction to some of the products. they do use product with scents and she did use a cleanser with abrasives in it. I typically don’t use these types products but against my better judgement I trusted the place since they’re “professionals”. If you have sensitive skin, I would make sure to tell them this before you start so they can be more mindful of product. I regret not...

HeyDay waiting room was calming and and pleasant. I really love their choice is an array of face products I had a lot of questions and they were happy to answer.

When I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely lady, and she told me to fill out a form based on my needs, and if I had any allergies. Next I was greeted by my skin therapist Taylor. I was brought into my own little room where I put down my things and sat in this very comfortable large chair. She asked me several questions about my needs, what I was looking for and how do I do my skin routine at home.

I got the 50 minute facial with two enhancements. My add-on was gua sha and hydra wand infusion. My skin at the end was glowing the next day. I couldn’t stop touching my face. My skin is soft, clean and beautiful.

Having never had a facial before I was a bit intimated but decided to give Heyday a try on its opening day as it’s right across the street from me. It is a bit tucked away (on the backside of the building). The space is cute and the staff were friendly.

I can’t say enough nice things about my aesthetician, Amber. Her bedside manner is phenomenal. She made me feel super comfortable right away and she knows her stuff. She gave great advice and her upsell recommendations felt genuine.

The only thing I will say is that their product offerings are so robust that a novice like me was pretty overwhelmed. I also wasn’t pitched the membership at the end. I was told about in the beginning while waiting and it is something I would consider if facials become a regular part of my routine.
