Hulsey Yard — Local services in Atlanta

Loud trains, forklifts, tractor trailers backing up, at all times of day and night. Terrible neighbor to some of Atlanta's most vibrant intown neighborhoods (Inman Park, Reynoldstown, Cabbagetown, etc). I don't understand why CSX wouldn't sell that prime intown real estate to a developer. It would help CSX's bottom line and improve the livability of the surrounding area. If you're looking for a major railyard less than a mile from the center of a major American city - this is it. It has multiple tracks, plenty of CSX locomotives, an intermodal terminal, and even an elevated subway line for MARTA running parallel to it.
