David came to our townhome and gave us a full, detailed explanation, using demonstration-sized windows, of what Wallaby could do to fulfill our needs. We wanted to take care of our immediate needs, so we ordered two security doors and one security window for the ground floor. David walked us through the financing options and also took detailed measurements and photos, as our townhome community requires all replacement doors and windows to be identical to the originals they are replacing. David kept in touch regularly while we waited for the items to be fabricated at an out-of-state facility, and the installers arrived on the date and time he had given to us for the installation. However, David advised us that the doors had been slightly damaged in transit, and he had already told the manufacturing company that they were unacceptable, and that the company had agreed to send replacements in a month; they also agreed to let us install the doors that day and keep them until the replacement doors arrive. So the three-man installation crew set about taking out the old doors and window and putting in the new doors and window. They expertly compensated for the slight settlement of the townhouse since it was built in 2002, and the new doors and window all open and close smoothly, and have much better weather stripping than what they replaced. Everything is so much sturdier and easier to use than the old parts, and the extra features of the window will make it a joy to work with in future, both for security and cleaning. The two areas that the crew worked in were thoroughly vacuumed and swept, and the crew left about four hours after they arrived, on their way to another installation. David checked on their work, confirmed that the replacement doors would be coming in a month, and answered the few questions we had remaining. So far, we are impressed with the quality of the product installed (especially the insistence that the doors not have even minor imperfections before installing them) and Wallaby's pledge to do a perfect installation. Owner David and operations manager Rob are knowledgeable on the products and the process. During the initial consultation that we scheduled at the property, they went into detail on all the different brands that they carry and the options that I would have. I liked that they were specific in recommendations for my property, which is so much better than working through a big-box associate who will never see the job site. They took time to answer questions and were very good about following up with me afterwards on specific information that I needed before making a decision. It was a long process, and David checked in with me regularly and answered my questions thoroughly. There were no 'must act now' gimmicks. They made sure I was informed at every step, and happy with the selections that I made.
The installation process was a few weeks after the consultation, due to order lead times and scheduling. They were able to work around my schedule and do the job on a day I was working from home. On the day of work, they had to delay the start time because another job ran over, but Rob kept in touch on the timing so I knew what to expect. The work was done well and the guys paid attention to detail. Rob even scheduled a follow up a few days later to complete a few things, such as adding some touch-up paint to the door frame. I also noticed that the door showed some light coming in the top corner, so Rob adjusted the strike plate so that the door sealed all the way when closed.

Our sales rep, David, fully explained all the options for each window. e.g. let us know the pros and cons of single hung vs double hung or sliding windows and each energy efficiency option such as various thickness of glass, with or without tinting, etc. He then gave us a recommendation for each window and unlike some sales people his recommendations were not for the most expensive choices but really seemed to be the best fit for each window. We have a large older house with several different types of existing windows so lots of possible choices to make. Was very price competitive and matched our other bids. He then made two return trips to our house in order to help us decide on window trim that matches other trim on the house.
