I picked this doctor based on reviews. The front desk personnel and the assistant was good, but the doctor was not so great. The assistant took me to the room where the doctor was on the phone and he was having a conversation about a patient. I waited patiently but I was thinking about HIPAA. Finally he got off the phone and addressed me. I told him my concerns and I mispronounced a medical word and he immediately corrected me with arrogance. I noticed that he was dictating everything I was saying about my history, but he was dictating as if he had already examined me and came to a medical conclusion. He would ask me a question and I would start to answer and he would cut me off and start dictating again speaking aloud which was very rude. Also, after responding to some of the questions that he allowed me to finish he would question me multiple times as if he didn't believe what i was saying. I'm so sorry I drove a long distance and paid a copayment to see this doctor. What a waist of time and money. I'm very dissatisfied with this...

I have never felt so belittled by a doctor in my life. I went to him because I had a persistent sore throat. He insisted that it was acid reflux because I’m over weight. Never in my life have I experienced any symptoms of acid reflux but he was certain that was the issue. He put me on a medication and scheduled another appointment in 6 weeks. After 4 weeks of taking the medicine without any improvement, I discontinued use. At my 6 week appointment he scolded me for Discontinuing the medication and told me my problem was that I was fat. I left the office in tears. No doctor should make someone feel like that. I got a second opinion and found out I have post nasal drip and was given a medicine that helped within a week. I later received a letter from Dr Oshinsky’s office stating the medicine he prescribed to me was being recalled for having carcinogenics and to discontinue use. Dr. Oshinsky's treatment for me (medicated sinus rinse) worked wonders for me. All my annoying symptoms cleared up. He has more investigative work to do, but this relief I felt gave me confidence.

I have now seen him 3-4 times. He has sent me for sinus imaging and an at home sleep study which concluded I could benefit from a CPAP machine and sinus surgery. I feel he did a thorough job evaluating me. I have no qualms about recommending him to someone having sinus problems. He may come off as abrupt to some, but I appreciated his directness and pursuit of the causes of the issues I was experiencing, as well as some I didn't know about, like the obstructive sleep apnea.

If you arrive early for your appointment, as I have a couple of times, you will most likely be seen early as well. Dr. Oshinsky likes to stay on schedule. He is the only physician I can remember seeing me before my scheduled time....
