Elevators: Yes. No technical issues. Roomy and clean.

The room: A friend and I stayed here for a concert at CFG Bank Arena. It was about a 6 minute walk to and from the Arena so that was wonderful (and why I booked). The rooms were kind of shabby, with stains in the hallways and on the carpet, ottoman, curtains, and walls. But surfaces were clean and nothing was broken. (Lighting was OK - depends on if your plans include dolling yourself up for an outing. :) Our bathroom light was not working upon arrival, but maintenance staff arrived within 30 minutes to fix it after calling the front desk and he fixed it within 5 minutes. The lobby was comfortable, safe, and clean.

Price: We paid about $400 total for one overnight in a room with 2 queen beds and a bathroom, as well as parking. Prices may have been ticked up due to the concert.

Location: I’m not from a city, so it was a bit confusing finding the proper entrance for me, but once inside the gate I felt safe and comfortable. Lots of traffic outside, but it’s Baltimore.

Food: A continental breakfast was available in the morning but we did not partake. I didn’t see the food so no comment. We DoorDashed to the lobby the night before and that went smoothly.

Staff: Pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. They were really busy this particular weekend due to the concert I’m sure, which slowed service down (i.e., I waited in line to check-in for about 20 minutes), but the 2 agents at the front desk went out of their way to make sure I and other guests had our needs met. Check-in and check-out were easy, Wi-Fi and parking questions were thoroughly answered, and we got good tips and suggestions for hot spots like restaurants and bars nearby. Again, maintenance staff was quick and thorough while attending to our room.

Parking: There is a parking garage next to the hotel which can be paid at the desk or upon exiting the garage itself. Online says $35 but I think I paid $50 for 1 overnight. Still, not a terrible price for me to park off-street overnight. They collected my parking garage ticket at the front desk after I parked and charged it to my room, then I used that receipt to scan out of the parking garage the next day. I’m not sure, but I think there was a fee every time you exit and re-enter the garage, but I didn’t have to do that so double-check with staff if that’s part of your plans.

Overall: If attending an event at CFG Bank Arena again, this spot would be ideal for me to stay at again. However, if visiting Baltimore for another reason or an event at a different location or for longer than one night, I’d probably opt for a better up-kept place. That’s totally my preference. However, I wouldn’t be disappointed to stay here again. All it needs are some renovations like new carpeting and the replacing of stained...

We booked a room for 2 nights. The location was close to Camden Yards, the National Aquarium and Inner Harbor, which was nice. We really just needed a clean place to sleep & shower. However… as soon as we walked in our room, it REEKED of weed. It’s legal in MD, but geez… it permeated everything. My husband mentioned it at the front desk, the guy just chuckled. There was a lighter on the floor next to our bed and a broken metal hook of some kind on the floor, not sure they actually vacuum the rooms. The sink is located in the room outside the bathroom, which is common. The faucet shot water everywhere, leaking out both sides, so we had to pile towels & washcloths around it but our items still got all wet. The TV did not work and had to be reset. There was no hair dryer despite what the amenities say. I didn’t pack one because I’ve never stayed at a hotel the DIDN’T have a hair dryer. The room key cards only worked some of the time, which was irritating. The refrigerator froze all of our water bottles that were on the bottom shelf of the door. We ran them under hot water, which led to flooding of the counter of the sink, regardless of the pile of towels placed there. We had a room for 4 adults but only 2 towels, one hand towel & 1 washcloth. When my husband went to get more clean towels they didn’t have any, we would have to wait until some were laundered. We didn’t hear other guests, so other than sirens outside it was fairly quiet. There was a pool which still had the winter cover on it, so during our “excessive heat warning” 100 degree visit it was a bummer. We were told we would get a discounted rate of $36/day in the parking garage next door but when we left to see some sights after being parked for 26 hours, we were charged $90 to leave the garage. They were supposed to tell us to give them a cell # so they could text us a QR code to use to come and go at the reduced daily rate. They did not tell us that little tidbit of info. So, yes, it’s close to most of the places we wanted to see, and it wasn’t noisy other than the ice machine. Other than that, thumbs down. We didn’t expect a 5 star resort, but we expected amenities listed, not to get high when we walked in the room and key cards & a sink that worked. Quite disappointed. Hopefully they will take this as a way to...

We tried to book a room here and the front desk manager seemed as if she didn’t want to accommodate us. Her name was Jennifer or Jessica, she’s Caucasian with glasses. She made us wait for several hours before we could attempt to check in, then during check in she sent away the lady she was training who offered to help us and decided to start making up outrageous charges that she would add to the room. When we originally asked about booking she told us our rooms would be the room rate plus taxes and fees, a little under $200. Then when it was time to book she tried to add parking, that was ok, she added a “safe” fee even though we didn’t need the safe, never heard of such a fee, she added a game day fee, and early check in fee and what took the cake was our total would’ve been 398 after all the fees, this lady then said “We’ll your total is 398.42 but your card will be charged an even $400. I asked her why, she replied that’s just what happens. Could not explain any off this. Even the customers behind us in the lobby agreed that all those extra charges and fees were outrageous. We ended up booking somewhere else after this person wasted hours of our time, not to mention we were traveling with children. I’m writing a review to make whoever runs this location aware of how this lady is doing business at their front desk, I have never had such a sour experience at a days inn location and our family travels ALOT. The “front desk manager” you guys have is not good for business and needs a coaching or maybe renewed training especially on fees for customers when booking. The fees were okay, the way she was adding them on and could not explain what and why regarding them was what made my husband and I very uneasy. Booking online might be sufficient for this location if this person is there. She also threaten that we wouldn’t be able to do an early check in if we didnt do it with her and she was getting off at 11am, if we didnt immediately book 1 room with her for a 1 night stay at the cost of $400 we would have to wait until 4pm check-in and could pay normal prices. That was outrageous to me, she made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I will never try booking with this specific location ever again. We live and...

Don't waste your money and time with this place. We arrived around 12 p.m., which was too early for check-in. The lady at the front desk was unfriendly and told me to come back at 3. They didn't have any open rooms. She did direct us to an open closet to store our luggage. We left for lunch and to explore the city and came back at 3 for check-in. A young man checked us in. Our first room smelled horrible! It was a mixture of mold, cigarette smoke, and pot. It only had one wash cloth and two bath towels with one small bar of soap. (I guess it was to be shared between the shower and sink.) A different front desk lady was very pleasant and changed our room. The new room smelled a bit better. But in reality, it was still horrible! Both wall outlets on the window wall did not work. The carpet had stains, the shower had marks and red mold, and the bathroom walls had stains. They need to be cleaned well. The headboards were cracked, the ottoman and chair were mismatched, and the ottoman was cracked. Let's talk about staff... each time we encountered a staff member, we would say hi or good morning. There was one Caucasian woman who would speak and was pleasant. The others would ignore us. My last experience with this dump was when I asked the front desk, at 10:20am if they had hot water for some warm tea. I was told it was locked up and put up because breakfast ended at 9:30. The pool, looks nice online. In reality, the pool and restaurant both have not been open since Covid. The room safe would not lock. The TV would not keep a signal. You could not watch it for more than five minutes without losing signal. The dresser had a broken handle, and the ice bucket was disgusting! Looks like someone got sick in it. Beside the bed was a piece of bacon, and an advil pill was at the foot of the bed. Here are a few positives... the fridge was cold and the internet worked well. Camden Yards is very close, and the Pratt Street Ale house around the corner was awesome! I have stayed in many Days Inn hotels, and this was by far the worst! Had we not prepaid for the room, we would have gone elsewhere. Thankfully, we only had two nights here.

This is a very poorly managed—thought hotel at such an inportant location. First- It is not accessible for people with disability ot have babies in a stroller (or even with large bags). Neither the main entrance nor in the hotel reception there is a place you can roll your stuff. Thats Poor. Second: They don’t do house keeping at all. I stayed here for a week and they never did housekeeping during my entire stay—that is despite me asking them twice. They’d put one soap for a week—a couple of coffee bags!! I had to get towel myself from the staff i saw in the corridor. On my last day (only time i was at hotel in morning)—i figured out that they come to knock your door and only if you open your door they will do housekeeping..i mean how? What? Not all people come to stay at hotel…? Third- Internet connection is absolutely awful. I did a test couple of times and it was 0.5-1mbps. At peak time—i couldnt even open my social medial site, let alone get my work done. I had to use my mobile hotspot to send emails! Fourth: Not clean at all (to put it politely). The floors has stains all over the place, Place smelled foul and there was dirt everywhere in room. I made a mistake of wearing my white socks once into my room—and it was stained black. Fifth: Terrible breakfast. They did a rotation between rice porrige and cereal for the breakfast, with bread, egg(bad) and yougurt/waffle. I almost always ate breakfast out in the nearby ihop! Only thing i can think nice of the hotel is that it had most of the necessary ammenities at room—microwave, refrigerator, iron board, hair dryer, coffee maker! People working were reasonably nice also, so it’s definitely driven rot by the management team, not people who work there. Overall—if you can, pay a little more and get a decent hotel or stay here only if you’re low on budget and staying for 1/2nights at most. This is a great example of “hotel you’d want to avoid” in Baltimore!

Terrible Experience for me – Not Worth the Convenience The only good thing about this hotel is its location near the convention center. Everything else was a nightmare. From the moment I checked in, the entire floor reeked of smoke. As someone with asthma and allergies, this made my stay unbearable. My room was hot and stuffy, but the air conditioning didn’t work, making it even harder to breathe. I woke up congested and struggling with asthma issues. Breakfast was a joke—just a couple of English muffins, toast, and limited juice options. (We went down at 6:30 am so we didn’t miss breakfast or arrive right before it was ending.) If you’re going to advertise breakfast, at least provide something substantial. I had to go to Dunkin’ Donuts just to get a real meal. The worst part? I had an important photography engagement at the convention center but was locked out of my room when I went to retrieve my camera. The front desk reprogrammed my key FOUR times before finally sending someone with a master key—only for that not to work either. I waited over an hour for maintenance to finally get me back in, causing me to miss my opportunity. I requested to move floors or get a refund for the second night, but the manager claimed they couldn’t authorize anything and that a higher-up would contact me. I never received any call or email—zero follow-up, zero concern for my experience. To top it off, the facility was dirty, and the only working ice machine was on one floor. This place is not worth the risk, especially if you have respiratory issues. The location may be convenient, but at the cost of your health and peace of mind. Stay elsewhere. Would NOT recommend.
