If you’re ever at Lexington Market and craving something sweet, you have to stop by Betty Lees Candy Dish! This Black-owned candy shop is one of those places that just feels good the moment you walk in. It’s filled with all the nostalgic candies you grew up loving, plus some fun, creative flavors that’ll definitely keep you coming back for more. What I love most about Betty Lees, though, is the heart behind it. Named after the owner’s beloved grandmother, Betty Lee, the shop radiates warmth, and the staff makes you feel like family from the moment you arrive. It’s not just about grabbing a sweet treat—it’s about the entire experience. There’s such a beautiful sense of community and genuine love for what they do, and you feel that as soon as you step through the door. Whether you’re treating yourself after a long day or picking up a unique gift, Betty Lees Candy Dish has something for everyone. So, next time you’re in Lexington Market, don’t miss out on this hidden gem—it’s an absolute must-visit! You’ll leave with a smile, and a bag full of goodies. Tell them Dr. Keisha sent you! ❤️

Betty Lee’s candy dish has done a great job of perfectly blending the old with the new in the new Lexington Market. Shelves are stocked with retro candies I haven't seen since childhood. From classic rock candy and licorice whips to old-school favorites like Necco wafers and Mary Janes, there's something to make everyone happy. It’s not just about the past – they also offer a wide selection of modern sweets, from gourmet chocolates to quirky international treats. The candy here is impressively fresh, and the best part? The prices won’t break the bank. Come visit and leave with a bag full of deliciousness without the sticker shock. It’s a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or a soft spot for nostalgic flavors!

My son and I the best experience at Betty Lee’s Candy Dish. From the number of candy options to the hospitality, we walked away with a huge smile on our faces. Please take some time out of your week to pay them a visit.

Stopped by Betty Lee’s to pick up a huge batch of candy to add to our gifts for our staff appreciation party. I was greeted with the warmest smiles, and had help brainstorming my idea for the DIY gift I was trying to create. The staff even sent me off with small baggies to help complete my gift idea. Our employees were so excited to receive all the fun old school candies they haven’t had since they were kids. This adorable shop situated in the beautiful Lexington Market made my DAY!!!! Thanks for helping me bring out my staffs...
