As far as the service I received, it was good. My issue is with their customer service. When I showed up for my appointment, they told me to go to the floor to get a root canal. When I got there, they did not have an appointment for me but I was scheduled for another department. When they finally figured it out, I was scheduled for General Dentistry. I told them that my appointment was supposed to be for a root canal so they sent me back to the department I started out at and scheduled an appointment. At that time they told me what my amount would be and I should pay it at my next appointment. When I came back to my second appointment, I was ready to pay the amount that I was originally told. When I got to the receptionist, she told me the same amount that I was told when I first made the appointment but then told me to hold on. She pulled out a calculator and told me that the amount was wrong and that the actual amount was lower.I paid the lower amount and confirmed with her that I do not owe anything and she said said yes. As I am waiting for my appointment, I see everyone being called except for me. Thirty minutes later, they call me AS I AM SITTING IN THEIR OFFICE asking me if I was going to show up for my appointment. As you can imagine, I had to reschedule yet again although I was on time for my appointment. The third and last time I went, there were no receptionists at the desk so I had to see someone in an office to check in. When I met with her she said that I owed a balance. I told her that the receptionist that checked me in before told me that I had already paid for my appointment. The lady in the office couldnāt confirm so I went for my appointment and had my work done. About a month later I get a bill from them. When I called them to tell them that I shouldnāt have the bill and told them the story, I was told that the insurance did not cover it and that I was responsible. I was upset because on the day of my second appointment I HAD THE MONEY. Now because of taking the word of an employee at their office, I am now responsible for a bill that I have to save up for and possibly going to affect my credit if I donāt pay it soon. I honestly donāt feel that I should be responsible but they are not going to take responsibility on their end so Iām stuck until I get the money together to pay the bill. I went here because it was more affordable than going to an actual dental office. They did good work but they really need to work on taking...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to the Periodontics unit with the plan to have an implant done. Things seemed to be on track with the first practitioner, but then she graduated so they gave me a new one. He seemed great and did the extraction, and had a great plan for the implant (to place a bone graft and implant on the same day). That plan was approved by his attending. On the day I showed up for the implant, he announced that he was finishing his program and introduced me to the new practitioner. This third practitioner was less experienced and decided not to pursue the plan we were on, instead, electing to do the bone graft and then wait six months for the implant. (First, he did a 3D scan that cost 371.00). I was fine with the plan and the extra waiting time. He told me that he would like to do another 3D scan after the bone had healed and that if it was within six months the school waived the cost of the second scan. Well, unfortunately, when the time arrived to do the implant, he had been mistaken and they do not waive the cost. They discounted it but it was still even more expensive than that charged by a private practice periodontist or oral surgeon. Furthermore, no private practice periodontist or oral surgeon required two 3D scans. I had gone to the dental school because of the potential savings, but their peculiar pricing of the scans basically wiped out most of the savings. Note that the second practitioner did not require any additional scans but felt the one I brought was sufficient. In sum, the switching of dentists resulted in a more time-consuming and expensive process. I was fine with the time but not the sizeable added expense. So, now I have a bone graft and no implant and nothing but wasted time and resources. In sum, the practice seems a little out of control with rotating practitioners, all with different plans and different costs. When they change practitioners, to less experienced ones, they need to honor the original estimates...

My daughter Arjanae went there for her surgery all I ask was can she ask the doctor to give me a call because I wanted to know did my insurance cover everything or if it didn't. Because I was at work when my daughter went for her surgery. And my daughter is over her father house she not answering her phone at the moment. Because she probably sleeping at the time. But that's not point the person on the phone were being so difficult and wasn't no help at all. When myself and daughter went here we went together for the first time and I already know what's going on with my daughter surgery of why she needed the surgery and what was suppose to be done. So I know what's going on with my daughter. Of why I don't understand why the person on the phone was giving me a hard time when I asked her can she have the doctor call me. I wasn't asking confidental information over the phone. All I ask was can she have the doctor call me, but the lady over the phone was being difficult of not wanting to help of giving the doctor my contact info. Also the doctor already know who I am because I was there with my daughter with all her appointments except 1 because I had to work. So I already know what was going on with my daughter surgery and why she needed the surgery. The person who answered the phone she needs to know how to deal with people calling over the phone. Because she's not helpful at all and her customer service is really poorly. And by the way my daughter gave the doctor to release information to me. Like I said before I was there with my daughter since day 1 so the doctor aware of who I am . I am going to report that person who answer the phone. Because she needs to learn of how deal with customers, of answering the phone. She wasn't no help at all. Very rude and...
