Okay, I have to start off saying that I absolutely.. without a doubt love love..love this little treasure chest of a store.. "SideShow at the American Visionary Art Museum". I would go and get all my funny storytelling items whenever I would be in the area. Well, I moved and no one carried my favorite fun reading glasses. I called and spoke to Ashley and immediately I felt her "can I help you" smile energy over the phone! Mind you this was an order over the phone/email process. Ted and Ashley go out of their way to look for fun glasses.. then send detailed pics for me to choose..take my order... then mail them!!

I really appreciate their "go the extra mile" service, when so many sales associates are rude with just ringing you up at the cash register...lol Kudos to Terrific Ted and...

My family and I have been going to the AVAM and attending it’s events for years. The gift shop used to be a neat part of those visits. That is until our last visit there last month. They had on display some of the trashiest, classless items regarding our POTUS. It was disgusting and tasteless. Shame on you! We won’t be returning to your shop until the owners can learn to respect any POTUS. Keep political opinions to yourself unless you want to lose a lot...

Incredible shop! The staff is exceptional and super friendly! There is something for everyone. It is so much fun to look around...look everywhere...you never know what you will find. If you are lucky you will see Ted Frankel. He is an institution, an amazing artist and just the nicest person. This was my second visit and I can't wait to go back already! If you don't leave here happy...nothing in life will ever make you happy! I still have a smile 8...
