I thought to myself, "Should I go to the crowded fast food place next door, or try something different?" I'm glad I tried this place. The atmosphere fit the Jazz I was playing (John L. Nelson's "Don't Play With Love") The light rain and the aromas in this café. Embodies what a café should feel like. Comfy, relaxing, and good prices and offerings. Not to mention great customer service. I ordered the egg on a bagel with melted cream cheese. It was delicious. Simplicity at it's best. I saw they offer sprouts! This is the best breakfast and lunch spot in the city, hands down. The food is always perfectly prepared, the menu has exactly what you'd want. The prices are really low for being in the middle of the city, and for the quality of the food it cannot be beat. The deli selection is always fresh, the portions are great, and the vibe is low key and makes you feel like family.

It's hard to find if you don't know where it is, but it's worth the search. The owner was really cool and friendly. Most sandwiches are $5 - $7. I had the Chick's Club with chicken salad and bacon on sunflower seed bread, and it was delicious. Fresh bread is big for me on sandwiches, and this one was perfect. I also grabbed one of the brownies, also very good. The service was very quick too. I'll be back again to try their pasta salads and other sandwiches, but I'd definitely recommend it to others.
