One of my buddies is "the" San Francisco Giants fan. So a couple of us got together last night and went down to Camden yards to go to an O's game against the Giants. This ballpark is possibly the best baseball venue I have ever had the opportunity to visit. Had a great meal at one of the stands outside and then went in and sat down in some terrific seats on the third-base line to watch the game. The O's played their usual game for this season which means a lot of balls were dropped and a lot of plays were just filled with action depending on where the ball went. At the end of the Giants inning at-bat the score was five to nothing. Looked like it was going to be a blowout however along comes the O's at bat and they score 6 runs. the Giants scored another home run first pitch nobody on based to tie the score. And a little later in the game something I have never seen before! Three men on base and what do you know a grand slam home run. Ended up winning the game it was a great time weather was perfect, terrific place full of family and lots of fun. Cost was reasonable, food was excellent and parking was 10 bucks with easy in-and-out no problems whatsoever. Of you're looking for a good safe time with the family in Baltimore it's a good thing...
Read moreOriole Park at Camden Yards is truly one of the most beautiful stadiums in Major League Baseball. Set right in the heart of downtown Baltimore, the park offers stunning views of the city skyline and the iconic B&O Warehouse, especially as the sun begins to set—just as you’ll see in the photos from my visit.
The field itself is pristine, with perfect grass and sharp infield lines. Whether sitting behind home plate or out in the outfield, every angle provided a clear and immersive view of the game. The atmosphere was lively and family-friendly, with a great energy from Orioles fans throughout the night.
One of the park’s biggest strengths is its design: it’s incredibly walkable, with wide concourses, good signage, and easy access to food, drinks, and restrooms. The selection of concessions includes everything from classic stadium fare to regional favorites like crab cakes and local brews.
The staff were courteous and helpful, and the location—just steps from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor—makes it easy to pair a game with other sightseeing or dining.
All in all, Camden Yards is a must-visit for any baseball fan. It blends historic character with a modern fan experience and offers some of the best views...
Read moreThe stadium was amazing. But I am hoping upper management at Camden Yards reads this review and improves the hospitality of out of town guests for the future. We were visiting out of town with two of my kids and the group we were with had rented a suite. My kids had a hard time seeing the game from the suite and there is a sitting area right under the suite that we thought was part of the suite. So we went down to watch the game from there. We weren't there 2 seconds before an usher came over and kicked us out. He informed us that this was not part of the suite and that upper management had instructed the ushers to kick anyone out of the area that did not have a ticket for the area. I can understand if the stadium is somewhat full. But the stadium was at 20% capacity and no one else ever sat in this whole area for the whole game. And we had bought a suite. And we were cheering for the Orioles too! That does not make sense to me. I hope upper management reads this review and trains their ushers to show a bit more flexibility and hospitality to their out of town guests in the future and improve someone else experience especially if they have kids that are really...
