Crema Coffee (UM Dental School) — Restaurant in Baltimore

This location is terrible. They’ve been claiming to extend their hours for months now. They close at 3pm. I get here OFTEN at 140 and I’m waiting in line to get to the front to find out they stop serving food over an hour before close. 1.25 hours before they close. Why? They only have a few cold sandwiches and salads , mostly cold stuff. They’re should be no reason why these people close over an hour before close. The food is always great. But the customer service and hours need to change. There’s not even a phone you can call and place an order. Even Panera has this option. No where to place an order online , nothing. Today the guy told me “we don’t have food only what’s in the case “,,, then proceeds to sell a soup to the lady behind me. Lied to me and didn’t tell me about soup or the hot options they have ready and waiting …there’s hot food and cold food .. and he informed me of neither. I sense racism because the lady behind me was black and he was cordial and friendly with her and completely disregarded me.I look Hispanic, but I’m black myself and people often mistake me for being Latina. I am not. I order a toasted bagel then watch as he serves everyone food behind me. Lady getting soup ,, other things. I get back in line to get soup and when I get up to the counter , extremely CONVEINENTLY, they’re “out of soup”,, I am 100% sure that there was soup and he just didn’t want to serve it to me. Kinda like how McDonald’s ice cream machine is always “broken”. It doesn’t make sense. I am always nice and Respectful to people here. They never reciprocate. Please do better Crema! Yall are embarrassing. Then I get a bagel. Toasted. And I’m waiting for 8mins and I go up to the counter (where no one is) and say helllooooi. The dude WHO TOOK MY ORDER comes from the back and says “what’s up ?”,, What’s up? What’s up is I want the food I ordered that you REFUSE to make for me for whatever reason. It’s deplorable. Don’t come here if you look white or Latina. Will get horrible service

now I normally don’t write reviews like this , but the service today was atrocious. An abomination. And this is like the 5th time they’ve done this to me. One time I came in and “they stoped serving food “ at 130pm when they close at 3!!!! Make it make sense. Will be contacting the owner AGAIN about this terrible service...

This coffee shop has ample seating and a variety of baked goods and a few hot foods. Ordered a cappuccino which was very good. The batista was nice and was dealing with some technical issues...
