This is one of the shorter museum ships that they have at the pier. But it was still informative and cool to see it a different ship that the company offered. There’s not a whole lot to this ship as it was not used for war or anything like that, but it is still cool to see how people lived on this ship I went on a Friday in the afternoon. There was no wait time. I was one of four people to tour the ship at the time. I bought the day pass for $22 to view all four ships on the pier online prior to arriving. I highly recommend you buy tickets in advance. It just makes the wait time shorter. This ship is not accessible for people in a wheelchair and may be difficult for people with a cane, but certainly is the easier ship to walk around than the other three.

A beautiful view from the Baltimore Harbor of the historic FIVE-STAR U.S. Coast Guard lightship Chesapeake. Built in 1930, the Chesapeake played a key role in maintaining navigation aids along the East Coast, primarily at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Now part of America’s Historic Ships Collection, it’s open for public tours. Check their website for dates and times, which vary by season.

Very cool ship with very reasonable admission prices. Definitely check this place out if you're a navy buff and want to learn more about marine boats. Stairways are a bit narrow and steep but not a problem. Headroom is limited but enough where you don't have to strain yourself. Not many people when I visited so it was great to enjoy the boat without people crowding in. A lovely hidden gem.
