We recently shopped the Bangor location, nothing big picking up a youth baseball glove and Big League Chewing gum for Little League Kids. Before we left I got a message from my oldest asking us to check on a certain chair for a last minute Father's Day idea. We set off on the direction we thought they might be. Rather then walk in a circle I decided to ask the workers at the register. As I stepped over to the side I was asked if they could help me... Let me just say the fact that one of the workers was sitting up on the counter talking to the cashier and another person.. Very bad representation for your store. I showed the pic to the workers. The girl standing at the register points in a direction," it would be over there with the test of the chairs" the young man sitting.. Mind you, he didn't even get down to focus on me your customers question. Points to the left, down two isles on the right. Really.. there was one person standing on the other side talking to them. I completely get one. Not being able to leave the register .. but I would think the one sitting up on the counter could be bothered to get down and show us . When we went back to the other side of the store to pay I asked our cashier..Zaki( spelling was unique so I'm not sure I got it right) if there was a manager on duty. Him I felt bad for he apologies for the service I received. We watched another worker show him how to do a couple things, so I'm guessing he is new. Besides being nervous.. He did an amazing job, polite... And most of all.. Not sitting on the counter. 6:25 pm -6:30 pm Saturday 6/14/25 registers closest to camping chairs .. specifically just two isles over. If you would like to pull cameras up to see which workers were so helpful... And obviously exhausted and needed a seat.. It would of looked better if they were using one of those chairs. I would point out the 1 Star... That was because I couldn't leave it at zero.. and the new guy was...

I went to the customer service desk and asked if they had a jacket in a different size. The prepubescent boy told me with confidence they did not have the size I was looking for. So I was like no problem and I went to my car to order the jacket to be shipped to my home instead. I noticed under the item it said, 1 left in stock at this location. Out of curiosity, I attempted to order it on their website for in store pickup and sure enough, the order was completed and I got the jacket I was asking for within 20 minutes.
This means the employee straight up lied to me to avoid walking to the back of the store so he could go back to talking to his girlfriend behind...
Read morewaited in sporting goods dept for 15 mins for help with a firearm and gun case purchase. when no one showed to help me i went to nearest reg. to ask for help the young lady called someone to meet me and help with purchase. after 5 mins a young man came over and he stated he couldn't help me but someone would be over to help me in 10-15 mins yeaaaa ! i left and went to a local gun shop and will continue to shop local after this lack of interest in selling me a GUN if you have issues with people who have a RIGHT to own weapons because of some nut job shooting people CLOSE and LOCK your doors and leave Maine i see your stock is dropping since your stand against legal gun owners and selling firearms was announced i hope it continues to sink PLEASE PEOPLE of MAINE do not continue to give DICK'S any more of our business THEY DON'T...
