1932 Criterion Theatre — Local services in Bar Harbor

Beautiful theatre with incredible performances! We highly recommend local high caliber talent, Takota Dionne as an opener to anyone like Howie day or other top performances. He knocks it out of the park and it would be great for the criterion to play a critical role in his rise to the top of the music world. If he were on american idol right now he'd win it and he's only 16.

Anyway we love the theatre here and only suggest improvement with the seating making sure that each row from left, center, to right all has different seat #s to minimize confusion each show for those that haven't been here.

A beautiful 1932 Art Deco theatre. A few weeks ago I ordered tickets to the upcoming Star Wars movie. I mistakenly ordered for the wrong time. I emailed the theatre and within 20 minutes received a response from Heather Martin (at 9 pm). Both she and Steve Boucher went completely out of their way to fix my issue, and were so pleasant during the process!

Tonight my fiancée and I stopped in to watch Spectre and I had the opportunity to meet Steve in person. A great guy!

Beautiful theatre with excellent shows!

*strong suggestion where we know many others share the same sentiment is to have the left, center, and right seating not have duplicate chair #s as this constantly causes seat issues. We hope it will be worth the time and energy to label the seats across each row 1 through however many seats in the row that spands all three sections of that row. This will create much more ease for every performance.
