I have shopped at this Goodwill since the day they opened the door. I've never had a complaint until today.. I took several bags of good stuff to donate. The guy who took my stuff was really disrespectful. He questioned me about every item! It was very irritating especially when it was obvious exactly what the item was. But he rudely said, " what's this?" He acted like I was smuggling contraband! I handed him a wall hanging that spelled out "FAITH" and he threw it back in my trunk and said "No, we don't want that!" I was flabbergasted! I was offended! What's funny is I bought it at a Goodwill.. I have donated many, many times and have never been treated so poorly before. There would be no Goodwill if people didn't donate.. that guy would not have a job.. Is this what Goodwill has become?? I have spent hundreds of dollars at just this Goodwill alone and I'm sorry but that gentleman needs a lesson in tactfulness. Now that I have that off my chest I feel somewhat vindicated.. it doesn't kill you to be nice to an individual who is being thoughtful.. I drove away dissoluted.. he was a good example of how not to...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. The manager at this location called my son who is a child, fat and unhealthy. She said it to his face and it really affected him. She continued to be verbally abusive for about 10 min. Many witnessed it and were disgusted. After reaching out about this incident, I've learned many others have had issues with her so everyone's decided to move forward and take the issue into our own hands. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Not only because of management but because prices have tripled. The prices at this store have been complained about by the whole town since early last year. Items that are generally priced at $15 such as a small end table needing TLC (great price) are priced on average at this store for $50. Sadly we see most of it go into the dump because they can't...
Read moreI would give them zero Stars if I could. This is the worst Goodwill I've ever shopped at. I just bought a product, was moving it into my car gently and had the top of it pop off and break all over the parking lot. And then went in and told them the product was defective and asked them if I could exchange it for an in-store credit per their policy. I was told no. I been talked to two different managers, explained what happened, they both said it was my fault for being carelss, even though it literally popped off and fell. I understand the need to be extra careful when transporting an item, however, customer service people seriously! And to add injury to insult I just donated over $200 in books. And they won't give me in store credit...
