Eyebrows by Donna Tong — Local services in Bellevue

Donna is a master at her trade. A coworker of mine had her eyebrows microbladed by Donna last year - and I didn't even know they were not her natural brows! I decided to give it a try, myself. I did my research on the topic and made my appointment with Donna to do my eyebrows and eyeliner.

I was contacted promptly by her friendly and professional assistant, Julie, who answered my questions, assisted me with scheduling, and sent a follow-up confirmation text.

On the day of my appointment, I found the office. It was bright, beautiful, and very clean. All the appropriate licenses were displayed clearly on the wall. The procedures were explained in detail and we got started.

The color I wanted was discussed and Donna drew in my new eyebrow shape for my approval. She gave me a topical anesthetic, and when it had taken effect, started the procedure. There was practically no pain at all.

The actual procedure for my eyebrows probably took about 90-120 minutes, and my eyeliner probably took about the same. I was there 4.5 hours in total for both. Donna was very conscientious of my comfort and was perfectionistic with her art - which I valued highly.

Additionally, the cost was 23% lower than the "high-end" boutique down the street from me, while the customer service experience was much, much better. This is the best value you can get for your money.

I haven't written a review for years, but really have to get back on to recognize Donna for the INCREDIBLE work that she does. I have always wanted perfect and pristine brows, but have always been terribly scared that they would be too dark or too "fierce." IYKYK! But after recently having my initial session and touch-up completed with Donna, I can easily say that I wish I would've done this sooner!

Upon arrival, I was given a numbing topical cream and showed Donna pictures of the shape/style that I wanted. We started sketching, and she took over 30 mins to perfect the shape. Once I was happy with my shape, we started the process. At my initial session, I wanted natural, and natural is what I got! After weeks, I decided I wanted a bolder brow (for my fuller makeup days) and she was able to deliver beautiful defined brows.

Overall, Donna is such a perfectionist and I believe one of the pioneers in the PMU field in the greater Seattle area. I was referred to Donna by my Auntie who has been going there for many years. The place was welcoming and clean. Donna and her staff are friendly and personable. She took time to explain the process as she had to make some shape and color corrections from a different artist. She took time to draw out the shape that best fits my face. Through out the procedure she made sure I was feeling comfortable as I made her aware of my fear for pain. Overall, I had a great experience with Donna and satisfied with her service and result. As working moms, we know how busy it could be in the morning when getting our kids ready for school and things. For me, most mornings I don't have much time for myself. So getting this done was a great decision. This will save time and looks great always....
