So this place is the worst apartment complex that I have every stayed in. When my wife and I went to check this place out, they were super nice and friendly, but I noticed on the walk through that there were a few maintenance issues that they said would be taken care of promptly. We needed a place rather quickly as we had just relocated out to the Seattle area, and it didn't seem too bad.
Short version: Don't live here. They don't fix anything, over charge on utilities, are rude, packages get left at your door, including my TV from Amazon, and upon move out, they charge you for EVERYTHING, even if it is in perfect shape. Got a whole $8 back on our nearly $1000 security deposit.
Now begins the problems. Upon moving in, the staff became less and less friendly or helpful. Not even a week into living there, the dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen, flooding it out pretty bad. Nothing was damaged thanks goodness, but was still not how we wanted to start our time there. Maintenance then came out not once, but 3 separate times claiming it was fixed resulting in the dishwasher leaking all of the floor immediately upon use. I actually had to demand the manager handle this or I would have to escalate it further. They finally replaced with a used dishwasher that never cleaned our dishes right the entire time we were there.
Next up was the stove that only 3 burners worked on. After 3 visits, the poor burner still did not work, and finally I went out myself and purchased what I needed to fix it myself with MY OWN MONEY. This horrible maintenance would continue for the entire year I was there.
Rent. Well it was really kind of high for the quality, but the location is nice. Utilities are definitely high each month for the common utilities that are "divided" among all of the building residents. Their automated bill pay failed one month for some reason and I paid it immediately upon noticing it did not come out, which happened to be on the day it would be late, and they charged me a ridiculous late fee for something that was their fault.
Finally, when we moved out, we cleaned the apartment from ceiling to floor, cleaned the stove and kitchen, and made sure nothing was broken. A week later, we received our statement of move out showing that we would receive $8 back from our $1000 deposit. They quoted pet damage for carpets, even in rooms that the dog NEVER was allowed in and the door was shut too, along with damages to walls and cabinets in the kitchen that were damaged upon move in. In the move out packet, the papers we signed for move in condition were not the documents that we signed and our initials that should have been on page 1 and were on page 1 were mysteriously missing. DO NOT TRUST THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!! You will lose you deposit and live in a horribly...
Read moreWe are a family of three moving into a 2B2B unit last June. The community is the best fit for us after visiting 10+ properties during our house-finding trip. Let me share the pros and cons here, and hope to help the future tenants~ 就一個剛從台灣搬來美國2年多的小家庭而言,如果租金對你不是問題,我們非常推薦這裡 : )
Pros: • Large main bedroom. It's one of the main reasons we chose here: we want to put the crib in the bedroom while still having enough walking space. We couldn't find a larger 2B bedroom in other communities • Kids-friendly community. If you have kids aged 5 to 12, they will make friends here from different ethnicities. Unfortunately, our little one is too little to walk and play outside • $3500. Understandable. Affordable for double-income. But in the long run, I would suggest having your property. • I would also suggest the management office set up a separate water meter for every household, like what we have for electricity. I don't think we use that much water as we are charged • Noise occasionally from the upstairs neighbor. We chose the 1st floor because we want the hardwood floor. Sometimes, the noise comes through the ceiling from upstairs. But the office people help communicate the issue • Noise from every Monday Vegetation Management. We live next to the in-community road on the 1st floor, and the noise every Monday is pretty annoying as we work from home. If you are outside in the daytime, this will not be an issue for you
That’s probably for now. Still satisfied with living here. Highly recommended for...
Read moreHi, I'm Scott, and very happy to share my genuine review of The Park in Bellevue; where I've happily called home for over five years. After selling my view home in the Seattle area, I was thrilled to find this unique and stunning spot online, and taking an initial tour myself sealed the deal!
Living here literally feels like a retreat—it's an inviting and serene setting just a short walk from everything you could need in Downtown Bellevue. I'm very grateful to have traveled to 30+ countries and nearly every U.S. state; And I can honestly say that coming home to The Park feels like living in a fine resort! The beautifully wooded surroundings, manicured gardens, and well-maintained apartment clusters create a sense of quiet calm and relaxed comforts. I love being able to work from home peacefully in addition to the impeccable public spaces and immaculate, well-equipped 24-hour gym and Clubhouse—that my Euro-friends call the "coffee house."
Having a private outdoor space is PERFECT for me as an amateur "master gardener" Lol...I so enjoy relaxing on my spacious deck with coffee or wine alone or with nearby friends and surrounded by my potted gardens. Come inside and experience my cozy, creative "New York-style" FLAT with vaulted ceiling, my personal art gallery and all the modern amenities I desire...it reflects my eclectic style and really feels like HOME for me!
The intriguing, educated and diverse residents here make it even better. The Park is personally managed by Jenay and Marzena, or as I like to call them, "The Dynamic Duo!" who are always personable and very professional and know our names and even our personal stories!! And the residents are wonderfully kind and considerate...I've made friends from multiple countries and enjoy the creative arts, culture, food and friendships from the international vibe of this flourishing international community.
I most-definitely highly recommend planning a visit and seeing for yourself why I truly love this beautiful urban escape on the edge of downtown...
