Iām writing this review to share a very upsetting experience I had at this Aldi location on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at around 1:30 PM. I came to return a camping chair I had purchased, but unfortunately, I lost my receipt. I asked the cashier if they could help me locate the purchase using my credit card, which Iāve done before many times over the years at Aldi. However, the employee refused and said this was not their policy.
She then called the manager, a man with blonde hair and blue eyes. I tried to explain that Iāve returned items this way many times, but instead of listening or helping, he dismissed my concerns and treated me as if I didnāt know what I was talking about. They made me feel like I was being foolish or dishonest, which was incredibly hurtful, especially as a longtime customer of Aldi.
While I was still trying to resolve the issue, the cashier ignored me and began helping another customer. The manager took my item and eventually told me to leave the store or accept a store credit, without any explanation of the amount. He threw the chair onto the floor and said I was raising my voice, which I wasnāt until I felt disrespected.
When I tried to retrieve my shopping cart outside (which I paid a quarter for), he said I wasnāt allowed back in and physically blocked me from returning. I left feeling completely humiliated, disrespected, and dismissed. I couldnāt help but wonder if I was being treated this way because of my accent or because I didnāt sound like everyone else ā and thatās a very painful thought.
After I left, I called Aldi corporate and filed a formal complaint. I was given a case number, but I havenāt yet received a follow-up. I worry that by the time the storeās regular manager returns, the security footage of the incident may no longer be available.
I love Aldi and have always had a positive experience before ā but this incident has shaken my trust and made me feel like I was unfairly targeted and mistreated. I hope this store takes this complaint seriously and retrains its staff, especially managers, on how to treat all customers with dignity...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAh, Aldi, the store I don't frequent often due to its elusive locations! But one day, I found myself there, on a mission to get some corn. As I strolled through the aisles, I couldn't resist a few bargain items, even though I didn't really need them.
To my surprise, Aldi didn't have corn on the husk, just prehusked in a 4 pack. It might have been a bit inconvenient, but hey, I guess it saves us the trouble of husking it ourselves, right?
The store seemed to be going through a bit of a messy phase, with cardboard scattered here and there, in need of some cleanup. But hey, we all have our off days, right?
Despite these quirks, there's something oddly charming about Aldi. So, if I happen to be in the same parking lot again, I might just give it another go. Who knows what I'll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIntriguing place to grocery shop. Neat, clean, friendly staff, and awesome prices! Their unique business model works very well for me. Aldi practices reduce labor costs and expenses and passes those savings on to the customers, all while being environmentally responsible. They're not open 24 hours. Bring a quarter for cart deposit, your own bags, and be prepared to explore a pethera of unique domestic and international products, many still in shipping boxes on shelves. All items are high quality, and I have many favorites. I love this place!
The only issue I have is several shoppers there need to learn some manners! The last I checked, this is NOT a third world country, at least not yet. This has nothing to do with...
