I have been with Tmobile for 9 years and my experience yesterday, I closed my line and went over to Version and I will be switching my daughter over to version also.
I bought the new S21 Ulta during the last week of June because my note was no longer keeping calls. I get the S21 and it was not also holding on to calls. I take it in last week to trade it in. They wouldn't do it and told me to update, come back in a few days and if it doesn't work then come back. It didn't work. So, I went back yesterday because the previous two days I was ill. They told me that I have passed the 14 days and that there was nothing they can do. The 14 day mark was actually the first day that I went in there. They changed the SIM card and told me that it would work.
I go to another T-mobile place and they said that they wouldn't do anything about it either. The guy said "they should have gave you a new phone. I understand your frustration". Really? You reconize that I was dooped and you won't help me?
So, I went across the street to Version, got me a $200 dollar phone. My service and phone works amazingly so far.
I get home and decided to cut my daughters line since her phone doesn't work. She doesn't make calls and only texts so the S21 will work for her. Since I am stuck with it anyways. So, I use the S21 to call T-mobile. Surprised after a half hour wait and 10 minutes on the call, the phone disconnects. Apparently the SIM card change did not work. But am I going to go in there? Nope. I'm done with dealing with them.
I was stuck with a $1800 bill for a phone that is unreliable, paying $80 a month for it because now I am too broke to get a new phone and switch my daughter to Version with me. Now paying over $200 for phone service a month.
I feel so betrayed. I was in there before that 14 days and was told that if the fix didn't work, they would help. They would not allow me to get a new phone or switch it. Then they treated me like that. I have been with them for 9 years and have never got that type of treatment like that before.
I am so done with them. The moment that I get my debt in order, I am closing everything and switching right over to Version. For the same amount of money I am paying for the S21 a month, I get a Hotspot, better coverage, and better customer service at Version.
Customer service is everything to me. You don't treat your customers like this. This worker intentionally pushed me past the 14 day mark. He even remembered me being in there. Didn't even log into the computer to put into the system that he helped me. I had to buy something just to prove that I was there that day. They had no record of me being there that day, when I was. I trusted them and they did me over like that. So upset over this whole thing. The manager wasn't even there to help out.
Make sure that if you go in there to complain, you have them make a note that you were in there. Obviously, this is happening a lot. Over at Version, there were 4 people there switching their service over from T-Mobile.
Also, I have to pay for that extra line for an extra month, even though it will be gone at the end of this month. So, that is also something you guys might want to...

I went in again yesterday about getting a new phone and was told they were out of all iPhones. As I was awkwardly waiting for the salesperson to say when they expected more to come in, or offer the option to order one and have it shipped to my residence, I got nothing. Did not seem like he was open to getting me any help. I went home, promptly went on T-Mobile's website and ordered the phone I wanted with the discount mentioned on the ads, and it was delivered (and setup) within 24 hours.
I have been with Sprint and T-Mobile for years and do not plan on switching.
