What an absolutely amazing experience. When I contacted Snake River Wine Tours, I heard back from the owner, Samantha, almost immediately. She worked with me to coordinate a day that meet all of my needs (I was bringing my four month old with me), and it made for a seamless time working the logistics.

The person leading our tour, John, arrived right on time, and my friend, daughter, and I were, of course, running late (I’d like to blame my four month old, but really it’s just who I am as a person 😂). John helped us load up the vehicle with all the things I was bringing, was incredibly kind and patient, and he called all the wineries to let them know our schedule had shifted slightly.

John was really knowledgeable of the area and gave us a fun tour on the wine to the wineries. You could tell that each winery loved working with Snake River Wine Tours (the relationship between the staff and John was great to see). John kept us to our timeline really well, but never made us feel rushed. Each time we bought a case of wine, John loaded it/them up for us while we were still tasting so that the loading didn’t eat into our time. John also brought snacks for us to each tasting, and made sure we had blankets whenever we needed them.

I would highly recommend Snake River Wine Tours if you’re looking for a fun, knowledgeable, well planned and safe wine tour of the Sunnyslope Idaho region. They were amazing to work with before the tour and very accommodating of some dietary restrictions a few had in our group. Chris our tour guide was great! Very laid back and enjoyable. He did a great job of providing lots of information on the area and the wineries when we asked but didn’t overly talk or sound like he was reading from a script as some tour guides do. Often times he let our group just do our own thing as we were driving between wineries. And music selection was on point as well! The wineries they selected for us were all fantastic and clearly have a great relationship with Snake River Wine Tours. They were all prepared for our group and super friendly. We opted for the charcuterie boards as well and I would highly recommend. They had a great mix of meats, cheeses, nuts and fruit, super fresh and very welcome during a full day of wine tasting! 😀 I’ve been on wine tours in WA and CA and this was by far the best. And at a great price. For the money I don’t think there is a better option...

When my bestie/wedding planner asked me what I wanted to do for my bachelorette party it was a no-brainer. I had never done a wine tour before but had heard and seen so many wonderful things about them. All I knew was…I love wine and I love my tribe and I wanted to be surrounded by both! Rachel didn’t waste any time doing research, found Snake River Wine Tours (to be the best of the best) and planned our most fabulous day! We met as a group in the morning at a set location and time for the tour van to pick us up. Jodi was prompt, dressed perfect for the occasion (very professional & business casual), her energy was vibrant and welcoming which set the tone for the day and never once did that energy waiver, she was informative and fun, knowledgeable and safe, inclusive and somewhat protective of our little group! The tour lasted all day as we visited four different wineries. We were notified of times both when we arrived and then given a 10 min notice of our exit.
