Government Center green line subway is a nice connector for multiple lines. One of the most spacious stations the MBTA has in my opinion. Always helpful staff to assist you with any questions you may have. I typically ride this line 2-3 times per week and have to making a connecting line here. Great lighting and I feel safe at the Government Center station.

Always somthing going on here when we visit. This year was some Winter fest going on and a Hood truck sampling Egg Nog Yuuum. They have a beautiful all glass station entrance that kinda resembles the Apple stores. Always a police presence here everytime we visit. All in all always fun to check out if your visiting Boston like we do once a year.

A very modern T station that serves as a stop on the Green and Blue MBTA lines. The D train on the Green line originates here and terminates at Riverside. The stop also serves as a bus connection. Being located at a very central area in the city, this stop has all the amenities and is one of the cleanest stops on the MBTA.

Amazing station. GL platform shaped like a triangle. Easternmost track for northbound trains to Medford/Tufts & Union Square as well as northbound trains ending here. Northernmost track (next to the easternmost track if you're at the northern end of the platform) is for turnaround moves for southbound trains turning to head back north. Westernmost track (next to easternmost track if you're at the southern end of the platform) is for southbound trains to Boston College, Cleveland Circle, Riverside and Heath Street. Main station entrance puts you at the northern end of the northbound (easternmost and northernmost) platform. Blue Line platform have many entrances from the Green Line platform, trains to Wonderland (via Logan Airport) and to Bowdoin use the same platform but opposite tracks. Train information screens located throughout displaying when the next train is, and where it goes. Station is accessible via elevators. Ticket machines available at the entrance to the station. Love the station design as well, looks modern and very well lit. (old design looked a lot like boylston, glad they...

Government center is where City Hall is and train stops for Blue line and green line it's very active and busy all the time and if you need help from MBTA people they are more than willing to help you whether it's trying to purchase your pass or help you out with questions these people are extremely nice and I appreciate them and I appreciate the accuracy of the train stops City Hall itself is a pretty busy place I've actually been there to sing in 2019 and they also interviewed me for a magazine there which came to pass March 2020 in which they interviewed me about my own life as a new book author all through the grace of God all in all it was a great experience on that day they also had homeless breakfasts for the city which I thought was very very cool Boston is the city of compassion in my opinion they help people out in different ways whether you're homeless low income senior or elderly this is the place in my opinion to be the city of compassion Boston...
