Justin was great. Spent time getting to know me and what I was looking for. Made sure that I understood the measurements and how I could stage the items in my home. I went to the Hyattsville location and Samuel did not have the same consideration or anywhere close. He actually left me at one point and never returned. When I wondered where he was he was up front dancing and telling jokes. I walked out. I am thankful Justin is who helped me my pockets arenāt lol but he was great. A1 Customer service.
However when my delivery came it was wrong. The drivers called customer service and I spoke to someone named Diego who was condescending and rude. When I explained to him I received pieces I didnāt order he didnāt care. Even the delivery guys said āIām sorry I donāt know whatās wrong with this guy call your sales person he can helpā. So I called my sales person who couldnāt help. I was referred to customer service. I spoke to Jonathan and explained to him in customer service the mistake and explained I wanted the items I originally thought I was purchasing and this other piece picked up. I was told ok and I was getting a $50 credit and they would schedule the delivery I receive a receipt for an adjustment in the price for the items I currently have but not the original power chair that I wanted. I donāt know if itās a language barrier or what but it seems like once they got my order no one gave a damn about the screw up, fixing it or what I actually giving me wanted or ordered. They just changed my invoice and said good luck. Still no one has helped and the $3000 couch I purchased is not the configuration I wanted or ordered and Bobs can care less. Which is disappointing because Iāve purchased from bobs a few times but I probably wonāt ever again now. I am so frustrated $5k plus to not have what I wanted and not to receive help. Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor weeks I was excited for the opening but sorry I missed it on Labor Day. My experience at this location was nothing but the best. As soon as I entered, I was greeted with a good morning and how may I help you today, by a sales person by the name of Dionne.
She took the time patiently to ask whatās my furniture type , like and fieldsā¦ā¦. Which was a surprising question that I was never asked before.
She further took the time to listen carefully then selected the perfect dining table , 2 nightstands and in Chester drawer exactly how I had explain to her.
The facility was well organized and everything I needed was met. She made sure of that, she also explained payment plan, and care plan for each furniture, and delivery plan also.
The team of sales persons were helpful and friendly among each other. She then introduce me to the entire staff that will be helping me through out this entire process whether it was payments or delivery.
From the floor manager to the supervisor and the delivery person, they were all friendly and well-informed of what I was looking for and my shopping experience was nothing but the best. I canāt wait to get it delivered and the Time for which it is to be believed was very considerate and very accommodating to my needs
Dionne did an amazing job to make sure that I got what I wanted , even though one night stand were missingā¦ā¦ā¦ she made no exception but did her very best to search her computer and different locate to find another one in time for delivery.
I will highly recommend it this location and every Bob location since I have been a customer since 2015 for all my and furniture needs. The quality of the furnitureās itās unmatched and the standards of the staff services is the same. Pricing was good. Getting my bedroom set delivered this Saturday. Overall happy customer. Will be back if ever in the market for new furnishings again.
Update: 4/18/25 Lost 2 stars today since I had poor customer service from a gentleman who was answering phones at 11am, started off fine until he was insistent to answer my questions instead of giving the phone to who I requested, I asked if it was OK if I speak to the person and he said nothing but just put me on hold. Once he was back on the line to state that the person I asked for was off today I asked for a manager, and he did the same thing again. Manager was nice however at least. Also, pillows were not included in my order that I specifically requested (whether they came with it or not), I stated I wanted them added on so paying for them wasnāt an issue. Not sure if Iām wanting to return again as I still am in the market for a new mattress and know which one I wanted to purchase from Bobs. Probably will be going elsewhere now unfortunately.
Update delivery day 4/19/25: Reducing my stars to 1, my bedroom set got delivered and set up incorrectly where I canāt use my bed and they wonāt send out the team to fix it until another...
