I went into Kay Jewelers looking for an engagement ring. Not knowing anything about what I was looking for or how to find it, Traca came out to help me. She told me a ton of important things to look for and helped me find something my fiance would love. She did a fantastic job! I got a ring I am proud of and my fiance loves it!
My issue with Kay is that they partner with the worst possible company Comenity. Comenity is a scam. They go out of their way to catch you in a bind and make you owe them more money. I would bet they would take everything from somebody if possible. This company is out to make easy money in whatever slimy way required. They set me up with a 12 month 0% interest plan. What they didn't tell me is that if I did not pay this off in 11 months 20 days, I would actually have to pay interest on the entire 12 months. I called in to fight this interest fee, but of course there is nothing they can do. It is 100% a scam. At the beginning you do not have to make a payment until the next month. This is so it pushes you back a month and causes you to have to pay early to avoid getting hit by this interest charge. If you go through Comenity YOU ARE BEING SET UP FOR FAILURE. Period. I beg of you to look into your plan and read your statements thoroughly to really understand what you have gotten into. AND still pay off your purchase a month ahead of time. Even if you think there is no reason to. It is a scam to catch you out. Even though you paid all of your payments on time in full. Even though you have completely paid off this purchase and you did everything you were supposed to do, you are being set up. BE CAREFUL! Don't trust Comenity. I made this mistake. They are not trustworthy and WILL scam you if any opportunity is given to them. Don't give them one! Be smarter and more thorough than them! I made this mistake. I was caught out and hit by this scam. Don't make my mistake! Don't...
Read moreMy daughter brought me a mother's ring for Christmas in 2022. I had to bring it back in January 2023, because one of the stones fell out. It was sent back everything was repaired. No questions asked. My daughter did purchase the warranty on the ring. March 2024 I brought it back in because another stone fell out. Now I am being told that the warranty does not cover the replacing of the stones, only for the metal of the jewelry itself. I should not have had to have to bring my ring twice already less than two years to be fixed. Apparently the quality of the jewelry isn't what it should be. Now I'm getting the royal runaround about getting the stone replaced . They sent it in for an estimate, but I am probably going to be responsible for paying for the stone out-of-pocket which I find. absolutely ridiculous. I will not purchase anything from Kay Jewelers in the...
Read moreMaryann is exceptional. She listened attentively to our concerns, responded with patience, and resolved all of our issues efficiently. We had been considering venturing to other jewelers as a result of poor customer service at various other locations but thankfully this random Saturday that we decided to give it another try, she was working. Maryann went out of her way to go back through years of purchases to address questions and concerns we had previously expressed and felt were always thrown to the side because people simply did not have the time. We will continue to come back to this Kay location. Maryann is the reason we have decided to stay with Kay and we’re so thankful our...
