Tried this hotel because the one I usually stay in for work was booked solid. I won't stay again. Comforter had obviously not been changed with very visible stains and dirt and there were crumbs somehow in the headboard (at least I hope they were crumbs) and the light in the vanity area was so dim I couldn't see to get ready. Somehow, even with 6 lights and the tiny window blinds open (and this was a king suite) the entire room was super dim. Very hard to put makeup on confidently. The toilet felt like you were nearly sitting on the floor. The bed itself was actually comfortable but the a/c is one of those sensors that shuts off when you sleep so I woke constantly sweating. Had no choice then but to use the shower in the morning which was ok but definitely skip the soap and shampoo they provide as it smells mildewy and was super thin. Noise in the hallway was prominent and there was a gap under the door letting the hall light in as well. The "restaurant" I had hoped to have a meal at is actually a small bar area that was so crowded with men who stared constantly it made it uncomfortable for a female traveling alone. Front desk personal during check in was not personable but the lady at checkout was friendly and personable. Stay at the Holiday Inn or Hampton in the same area...they're much better choices and similar pricing.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. My family checked in excited for a weekend getaway, only to discover the pool was out of service—even though we came prepared with swimsuits, towels, and goggles. While unpacking, we were shocked to find a roach crawling on the wall. Understandably, we were upset and immediately reported both issues to the staff. Like many others have mentioned in previous reviews, the staff offered minimal assistance or compensation. The employee on duty contacted the manager, Chris, who was not on-site. Chris offered little resolution and even suggested we find another place to stay for the night. This was extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay with decent customer service. Due to the unsanitary conditions, I will also be contacting the local public health department to report my concerns.

Honestly, I was expecting more from the Plus part. It was just a standard cheap hotel. Our room was not clean. Soda bottle on floor next to bed + items still left in fridge. No washcloths. Bath towel so ratty it had strings hanging off it. Room decor was just a place for you to sleep. Bed was comfortable but gap in window shade let in light right into your face in the morning. No noise proofing and we could hear every one else. Restaurant was just a plastic table in the lobby with a bar. Ordered one of the cocktail specials. Bartender confessed she'd never made one before. There were signs all over w/QR codes so you could tip the staff with a promise all the money would go to the person. We didn't believe it. There were lots of other hotels nearby, including a Hampton we could see from our window, and we will try one of those next time.

Normally we would expect a little more from a "3 Star rated" hotel. The clerk at the front desk when I asked about parking up front if it was closer to our room. She directed me to park at the far end and use the entrance there. We did and ended up walking all the way down to our room that was the first one from the lobby. My wife has issues with walking long distances, but managed by taking her time. I ended up pulling our vehicle around by the back door which was half the distance from before. Room was ok, typical 2 queen beds (that were comfortable), along with the louder than a freight train exhaust fan in the bathroom. Next morning in the normal rush along with lots of other people to grab a bite at the breakfast area, was a real disappointment! They featured sausages, (only two or three left) Scrambled eggs (empty), pancakes to cook (empty), bagels (one left which my wife got), yogurt machine (empty). There was only one worker who also was the lobby worker trying his best to get food put out, but missed most of the rush as a group of what appeared to be workers had to rush out the door. Several without any food. And yes, we get it. The place was apparently busy, in which you would know the evening before, however, the person working was doing his best to not interact with the patrons with a simple "Hey folks, I'm doing my best here. I'm a bit short handed", etc. can go a long way! Is this the worst place we have stayed at? No But sorry, we won't be back. There is a Fairfield, and a Hampton Inn right there we will try next time, as this is a halfway point to our daughters house which we travel several...

I’m not new to BW Plus. I make several trips too Illinois because of senior siblings health issues. I stay at this facility many times, and it’s a very clean place, the staff is great but housekeeping leaves a lot too be desired. I checked in on Monday, and I was asked if I wanted housekeeping. I made it easy and told them just clean Thursday-Saturday. I come back after being gone all day into late evening and I think she changed the linens on the bed, but she looks like she was tired of making my bed, and she literally just threw the linens on top of the bed. The duvet and cover was hanging on the floor on both sides. I had been exchanging my dirty towels out and getting clean ones. I gathered all the garbage and gave it to them. But Thursday, the person assigned to clean my room, was too lazy to put the towels in their proper place, I had put them on the sink, but no one touched them. It has been a very hot summer. I checked in, and while getting my luggage out, one of the clients told me that if I wanted ice, I had to walk over to the hotel across from our hotel. I really thought she was kidding but lo and behold, three floors and no ice. I don’t think I will stay at this place again. I hate it, because I have become familiar with the staff and they actually recognize me when I walk in to check in. I’m not being credited with my points properly. As many times I’ve stayed this year, I should have wayyyyy more points than what they’ve given me credit for. But the staff on all shifts are great. I feel they need someone who is willing to supervise the...

I don't normally leave reviews but I feel this situation warrants it. We were in town for a baseball tournament. When booking the room, I requested early check in. I received a call from the hotel stating the current guest staying in our room wanted to stay another night and asked if we would downgrade to allow this. This was not possible because I had 3 boys with me. My 9 year old has a brain tumor and we needed the space. A single king size bed for 4 people would not be doable for our situation. I don't think she expected that response but was polite. I arrived at the hotel and the room wasn't ready and we had to wait an hour. The staff was friendly and I was grateful they took care of the current guest situation. Check in was smooth and quick. But that's where the hospitality ends. My son's baseball game started fairly late. Afterwards, we stopped for ice cream and arrived back at the hotel around 11:30pm. I was getting the pull-out sofa ready and noticed there was no bedding bag for the sofa. I called down to the front desk and was told I could come down and get sheets. I guess I wasn't expecting to be the person who needed to go get my sheets. They should have been brought to the room. When I arrived at the front desk the worker handed me sheets. No pillows, no blanket. I said, I need pillows and a blanket because there isn't anything in the room. I was told there were none. Excuse me?? For over $300/night I can't get a pillow or blanket? How can a hotel not have a single pillow and blanket? This is...
