Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Bradley

On Jan 17th 2025 around 8:30pm My husband and I went to the Bourbonnais IL Chipotle. A young girl white girl with reddish brown hair and had a large tattoo on her arm of koi fishes and cherry blossom was the first one to take my order. I told her I wanted a veggie bowl with 4 large tortillas. She puts rice in the bowl then I realized I didnt have lettuce in my bowl so I asked her if I mentioned it was supposed to be a salad bowl. She said no. Then dumps my rice back in the metal serving tray. She then puts the lettuce in the bowl and adds back the scoop of rice. (I was expecting her to put the lettuce on top of the rice) I made the mistake and forgot to tell her super greens veggie bowl. I normally order the same thing every time I go to Chipotle. But I had a pregnancy brainfart or something and forgot what it was called. That was my mistake. After she put the lettuce with the rice I told her I wanted beans. She grabs another empty bowl and puts beans in there. My husband looks at me confused and says Did you order 2 bowls? I told him no. So she said Oh you didn't order 2 bowls? I told her No. So she grabs the bowl, stood there holding the bowl of beans for a few seconds huffs & puffs then rolls her eyes and throws the bowl with the beans away in the garbage. Which made no sense because all she had to do was dump the beans in my bowl of lettuce and rice then throw the bowl away. I'm not sure where she heard that I wanted 2 bowls. Even my husband said he's dont understand where she heard me saying I another bowl or a separate bowl of beans. I understand mistakes happen but her huffing and puffing with the dramatic eye roll was very unnecessary and unprofessional. It made me uncomfortable and I wanted to walk out and go somewhere else but stayed because my husband wanted Chipotle. She then grabs another scoop of beans out of the serving tray to put in my bowl which was so wasteful when she couldve just dump the bowl of beans that she threw away with my bowl of lettuce and rice to begin with. When I got my food and sat down to eat, The food tasted so bland. I dont know if it was because my bowl was missing some ingredients. I normally order my bowl with the bell peppers and corn but they didn't have any this day. The portions I was given was way smaller than what im usually given. I usually can make 3 medium burritos but I could only make 2. On top of that my rice wasnt all the way done cooked, I had to eat my food with rice that was still crunchy. Food was delicious. We treated my aunt for the first time and she loved the chicken bowl. The food was fresh and hot.

The manager was a little rude. I asked for more vegetables and she snapped that it would be extra. She didn't ask my aunt what items she would like on her bowl and put what she wanted on it, which was hardly anything. The manager didn't explain to my aunt that guacamole was an extra $2.85 on a bowl for a tiny scoop and made sure that was added.

It was like she was trying to uncharge everything. The prices here were MUCH higher than other locations such as South Holland. I was quite shocked in the vast pricing differences.

They didn't have forks for customers but offered a tiny spoon. If your establishment food needs does send someone to Walmart to get some. Ironically, I had a box of forks from Walmart I just bought. Problem I had to solve myself.

The tables were dirty. The dining area is very cramped with uncomfortable seating.

Based on higher prices and rude manager, I will only come back here to take my aunt if she wants it because it's close to her home. For me, I'm done with...

I visit chipotle 2-3 a week. This visit was very unprofessional. All the food was empty and I received very small portions of each ingredient. Then when I went to pay, I was overcharged for my meal. I was charged for a full steak, when I ordered half chicken half steak. when I questioned the employees I was told because steak is the more expensive meat I get charged for a steak. So let me get this straight. I do not receive full steak but have to pay for it?!?!? TOTAL RIP OFF and very unprofessional. So not only are you stealing money from customers, by your also not giving the required portions because your employees are too lazy to keep the hot table full and fresh like they are supposed to. I will be telling all of my friends, who also visit chipotle 2-3 times a week about my experience to prevent this company from stealing customers money, and not giving them what is paid for and being overcharged for ingriedients they DO NOT receive.
