I rarely post a review but had an awful experience with a drive thru order. I haven’t been to Panera in years. Decided to treat myself while I was running errands before work. I pulled up to the drive thru. Waited a good 6 minutes for the car in front of me to have their order taken. When it was my turn they took my order right away. I pulled up to window to pay and they had my coffee ready. I was then asked to pull up to spot 1 and they will run the rest of my order out when ready. I proceeded to wait 17 minutes for a BAGEL. Seeing I had to be at work I ran inside to see what was going on. The dine in area was practically empty, an employee was sitting on her phone and when Tiffany the manger saw me she asked if I had a drive thru order. I said I’ve waited over 17 minutes for a bagel. She said she just saw there were drive thru orders ready. She handed me my now cold toasted bagel. I said something about but I was very upset with the service, couldn’t finish errands I planned before work and had to get to work with my cold toasted bagel. When I got back to my car I informed others who were also waiting a very long time for their order they should go inside as it’s just sitting there. Tiffany was behind me and had comments to make which didn’t clearly hear. I informed her nobody should wait over 17 minutes for a freakin toasted bagel. She snapped back with an awful attitude. Not what a manager should do. Should have apologized for the wait time and made it right. I’m seeing this has been a common theme at this location lately. Along with finding out, once I arrived at work that another coworker experienced they same exact thing for a simple breakfast sandwich just a few days prior. If a business is understaffed then they need to either close the order in or drive thru in order to keep up. Drive thru is suppose to be in and out. DO NOT ORDER FROM PANERA unless you plan to wait for a very long time to receive your...
Read moreSo this afternoon I had the experience of waiting for my order. The store was a little bit behind. While sitting at the counter a gentleman came in from I believe a doordash or Uber Eats. This individual waited for their pickup however the drink that was to be with the pickup was not near the bag. This individual asked the clerk where the drink was. The clerk told this individual that he needed to make the drink. This individual stated he was not comfortable making an order that did not belong to him and chose not to make the drink. The assistant general manager from behind the counter and started yelling at this individual. He said all the other drivers from doordash and he takes care of all of his drivers make the drinks and don't have a problem with it. This driver said for health reasons he did not feel comfortable making a drink that did not belong to him. And customers should be aware if they have doordash drivers or Uber drivers personally placing ice grabbing the cup putting in the liquid and then placing the lid on the cup this is not something most people are going to accept. The manager stated to the driver he did not want him to come back to the store and would not allow him to pick up deliveries at this location because this driver chose not to make a drink. This was disgusting on the manager's part. I'm appalled that they allow people off the street who do not wash their hands to make drinks. I understand you may be busy but they have an order to pick up and the person that placed the order was not aware that someone outside of the restaurant would be making their drink. This is disgusting on Panera's...
Read moreI was really excited to eat here after my kids got free kids meal certificates at school. We arrived at 11:20 and we’re told we couldn’t order soup until 11:30 so we sat and waited for 10 minutes then went to order soup and was told it needed to defrost and to order something else. That happens, it’s okay. We ordered Mac and cheese instead. When we got it we noticed some green stuff on the bowls and in the noodles. Sometimes dishes don’t get washed thoroughly and that’s okay too so we requested new ones and they were gracious enough to give us some cookies with it. We ordered iced coffee and we’re told they had none and that we’d have to get hot coffee and add ice (no thanks). The bathroom was filthy and the soap dispenser was broken. The makeshift soap dispenser was not accessible for wheelchair users or children. When we went to leave I noticed that they did have iced coffee- the dispenser was half full. It was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. If you’re not prepared or staffed enough please don’t open...
