Walked in and a super sweet girl greeted me and told me about the sales happening in the store. My husband sat down in one of the chairs displayed towards the front of the store and after being in the chair for 3 minutes max, a very rude employee addressed him by saying “you’re gonna need to get up.”
My husband came and found me to walk around with me and informed me of the situation, after hearing what happened I walked to the front counter and placed the sale flyer on the counter and said to him “if you can’t sit in the chair, we don’t need to buy it or anything else.” To which a woman who had no uniform or store attire on, interjected and blurted out, “well, we just actually have to sell the furniture.” My husband responded with “how did you know I wasn’t going to buy it? Have you ever purchased a piece of furniture without sitting in it first?” She then responded to that in a very rude tone by saying “okay well are you gonna buy it?” My husband said “well I’m definitely not going to now.” We started walking out of the store and noticed 3 men doing exactly what my husband was doing… sitting and waiting on their wives to shop. We are so disappointed with this experience as we have always shopped in this store. We will never darken that door again after that experience. If there was an option to give 0 stars, I would gladly do it. We’ve already made this known to our family & friends and they will not be shopping this...
Read moreI've always loved Kirklands..and understand if certain locations are very busy, and short on staff..but my husband and I have been to this piticular location twice, we are out of town visiting. last year when we had gone in to get a few items, stood in line, what seemed like over 5 mins. And the cashier took off to the back of store, we never saw her, another employee came to the front, and opened up the cash register in another lane, so we stood there while she motioned the people behind us to her register..so, we left our things and walked out. Fast forward..yesterday Oct. 9th 2024, I had gone in to pick up a few items, like last year, 2 people in front of me walked out, and the person behind me walked out as well..same thing happened again, the lady behind the Register took off to the back, and a line of 4 people were waiting, 3 mins. No one came back, so I put my things I wanted back on the shelf, and walked out, not sure what happened..I'm hoping things at this location will possibly...
Read moreThe Kirkland’s Branson Landing store pulled an item that I purchased online for pick up in their location and sold it out from under me on Christmas Eve. The second most disappointing part of this experience was the unacceptable (total lack of) customer service when manager, Debbie, and employee, Teresa, demonstrated indifference and were short and sarcastic in their responses to me. Neither was it in my paperwork nor did anyone inform me that I had only five days to pick up this order, including when I called the day before my visit to confirm store hours. I made an unnecessary hour-long drive only to learn that my item was no longer available. Neither of these ladies showed any remorse nor offered to rectify the inequity. While I have had long patronage with Kirkland’s and own many of their products, this was a most distressing experience and I do not recommend the Branson Landing Kirkland’s to anyone who cares about being treated as a...
